just out of interest, any warnings lights on the dash?

Your original post is exactly how my car behaves if the ENG CONT fuse has blown. But you also get "LIGHTS" and another warning coming up on the dash...HICAS i think...can't recall.

Easy fuse to check. Prob not that but thought i'd bring it up.

 

I`ll have too check i know its probably a stupid question witch one of the fuse box`s is it in i have a 1990 jspec model and i cant read japanise

 

Eng Cont fuse is a little red one in the relay box behind the passenger headlight in the engine bay.

 

Try these.

The car is running fine now all i did was put a new heavy duty ground wire from the battery to one of the gearbox bell housing mounting bolt.:zlove:
