    Hi guys
Some of you will have been watching the progress of this product in this thread:
    http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=318037

The time has come to release a price and offer the product for sale :D

This is a brand new product and many cars have after market exh systems etc, both the seller (myself) and the customer (you) needs to keep this in mind and be open to the chance things might not play out as easy as we would hope.

The design is such that if the worst should happen and the panel fouls the exh system it shouldn't require any serious engineering skills to be able to modify the panel to accommodate the exh (within reason).

This kit will include the following:
    One main under tray panel
Two fences (the bits on the side)
    Two brackets for the front
    One bracket for the back
Stainless steel button head fasteners, washers and nylock nuts
    Basic instructions to fit.

The fences, panel and rear bracket are anodised black, the front brackets are plain ally (can't be seen and in my opinion a waste of your money anodising them).

Pictures to come of the anodised units (will ask to be edited in to this post if possible).

Price is $200 NZ per kit plus postage, postage will be similar to the splash shields $30 - $60 per kit depending on numbers in the box etc.

Happy to work with whoever to sort out shipping in bulk to one addy.

Only 7 units available in the first batch! Turbo cars only
(unless you are happy to make your own front brackets and trim as/if required)
NA cars will be sorted in the next batch :)

Second batch will be made once fitting has been confirmed on various exh systems etc, should only be a mth or two away.

PM directly or post here if you're wanting to ship multiple items to same addy.

Kits will be ready to send mid next week (~1st Feb)

No sorry will fit only the two seater Z32

I do have a customer who wants something similar for his 2+2 so that could result in something similar for the 2+2 owners :)

Postage quote as a general idea:

To send a box with ten kits to one address in Aus is approx $200 NZ so around $20 per kit.

To send a box with five kits to one address in Aus is approx $110 NZ so just a little more.

To send just the one kit to one address is around $60 NZ.

    Hey there,

I have a 2 seater twin turbo, is there any extra cost if I get mine anodised in blue?

    Thanks

I will ask on Monday and find out, unfortunately the first batch is all loaded up on the machine and ready to go, they would have been done yesterday but there wasn't enough work to make it economical to fire up the machinery.
I've been told they WILL be done Monday.

I will let you know what they say :)

First batch of anodised ones are here and look awesome! :D

Flat out so have to get a couple of things done before I can fit up and take pictures.

Did a quick test fit on an NA with stock (but slightly bent exh) will fit if 10mm is trimmed across the front three edges - will still need custom brackets though.

Will modify and fit one of these to my own car and post some better pictures of that when I get a chance.

Overall the anodising came out very well and looks really sharp in person.
There are some small marks from the tooling used to hold the parts for anodising but these are carefully located and not visible once the parts are fitted.

Was chatting with JP from UAS tonight and I am looking at sending at least a couple of these over to UAS for test fitting with various exh systems etc & ultimately for sale if anyone is interested.
Post up if you are interested in buying once you have seen in the flesh at UAS, I'm sure you will be happy with the quality and design :)

Looking really good mungyz! I'm letting you know I'd also be interested if you do them for 2+2 in the future. :)

    I'm very interested!!

Having a wings west rear bar I possibly have the worse bar for this.

So those of you on Facebook may have seen some updates in the design up for public condemnation and ridicule:

Added extra fences to the centre just to make it look more functional, also adds a lot of strength to this area:

I was happy with that but thought I could "improve" it a little more & make it a little more ....... ummmmmmmm fancy LOL! :

Will get a couple of these centre sections made up and will look at sending them over, let me know what you think guys, I'm happy with the way it looks but the goal is for YOU to be happy :)

Looking good, if the centre section was black like the rest of panel it would look even better!

I haven't been following this thread too closely but have you made some of these to fit a 2+0 N/A??

    Cheers

Curious? What would difference be between a 2+0 NA and a 2+0TT?
I mean ignoring the hicas which doesn't come into play here, the section the cover utilises would be the same ?

Good question, mungyz states in his first post that he has made these for turbo cars only as the front mounting bracket is different??

I have used the mounting points for the HICAS rack for the front mounts on the panel, the NA does not have these mounting points.
I have made ONE to suit an NA by using the toe rod bolts for mounting points, this would only work if you have after market toe rods.

The idea was to try and keep it all bolt on, would be easy to design it so people had to drill holes in things - maybe I will look at that for an option and see what people think :)
