hey gonzo mate sorry this is off topic... but how the hell can the transformer make noise? all it is a a metal squate [] with some wire rapped around each side (ie. no moving objects)? only thing i could think of would be a slight sound from some heat energy causing vibrating, in that case, just put some tape around it or something similar, wrap it up in god knows what.
