That is cheaper than any track in Vic. Mid week is cheaper than w'end of course, but we also have Calder that runs open practice days (Tuesday) and winton that does the same most Fridays.

Great to hear it was an excellent day and we have a new convert.

I plugged everything back into the car and it's going now, no idea what's up with that.

I'll definitely be over there for a track day sooner rather than later, Mallala has been on the to do list for a while now.

Big thanks to both Daves over there too, one for getting it all started and the other for the offer of accommodation and lots of helpful advice while I was trying to get my car going again. I put everything back together on friday afternoon after lots of fruitless testing and it seemed to go reasonably well despite me not having actually done anything except unplug everything and plug it all back in again.

Oh well, next time, and there will be a next time!

    Peter.

    Nice vids Pete! :zlove:

It always amazes me though how the in car vids NEVER seem to quite capture the reality?......I mean after going for a 'leisurely' ride around Haunted Hills in your Z & knowing what it's really like to be inside your car!......the vids make it almost look like a Sunday drive! :p:p:p......except when you catch & overtake the old Holdens like they are standing still! :p

Your always relaxed & smooth driving style probably doesn't help the cause either! :D

I also learned a couple of things. One is that verts had stalk mounted cruise control; would be good if you could retrofit that to our wheel mounted cruise control and then have no problems with different steering wheels and two the rear infill panel is different from the standard ones; there's are tinted red and have the word Fairlady in the panel itself.
