Push button start. Cool

    yer, umm no. My view is that is just a waste of time and effort.

    For me, for it to be worthwhile, I have to keep the key in my pocket, and just hit a button to start it. Just like the Maxima and 370

    for this a rf equiped system would do it but probably be cost prohibitive...... but then whats cost coming into a conversation about the 300 for, we don't buy these cars to be finicky about paying out the $$$ (if you are sell now), I would actually be quite happy with a push button remote working along the lines of what I earlier mentioned. (may even give it a go when the car is more finished with the important stuff)

    exactly. it takes what, half a second to turn the key instead of turning it to accessories then purposely pushing the button to start? so pointless.

    If i was going to convert to push start, id install a proximity sensor so all I need to do is jump in and press the button. Id relocate the battery to where the key barrel would be aswell.
