lol its all good guys, if you think I can draw up a whole forum with a few hundred mates and thousands of posts then so be it, I didnt intend to offend anyone either. Dyno sheet isnt lost either btw, Im on an OE (in another country for those who dont get that).
Good luck lazyzed, hope you do well.

this guy has more mods than Jedi's zed. I think his results are legit.
as for lazyzed, I am guessing 143.4rwkw.

Man, I see no reason as to why your power wouldn't be legit. I say well done. As for LazyZeds car, my car was previously an NA auto and made 120.5 RWKW with just an intake and full exhaust. I reckon into the 140's should be no problem for you with a decent tune. And from everything I hear Tom at PZP knows his stuff.

My main target long term is to go after the DRAG record not the DYNO record. I want my car to be fast not just look good on a dyno ;) (no offence JEDI )

I want a low 14 with an NA (so no NOS as that is not NA). Problem at the moment is that I can't get to the drags as I fly in/out for work on wednesday and that is when they hold the drag meets (Whoop Ass Wednesday) here in Perth :(

PS: Not saying for one second that I do not believe XS9909, but I want to see HARD evidence. Do a power run on a Dyno Dynamics dyno in shoot out mode and post up your results + enter it for the dyno list. Then (and only then) will I bow to your NA of awesome :bow2: :zlove:

    Cheers

Fair enough Rob, Im not sure what brand dyno the guys use, its done at Dr Repower (who has the same dyno as Torque Performance). Ill ask on the NZ forum.

As for drags, my only time I went I managed a 14.98 with launch control and semi-slicks. They werent the best tyres to use admitedly, and the car isnt set up for drags, best NA time here is 14.79, however the car is ripped to pieces now. Low 14's would be awesome, good luck with that

Stillen Headers, Test Pipes, H-Pipe, Greddy Mufflers. Stillen Intake POP Charger. Dual 58mm Z-1 Throttle Bodies. JWT ECU. Apexi NEO AFC. Full AMS Underdrive Pulley Kit. Fidanza Flywheel. Lightweight SPEC Clutch Pack. Z-1 Aluminum One-Piece Driveline. All rear Suspension Components replaced with Powertrix Adjustable Components. All Front Suspension Components replaced with Powertrix Adjustable Components. Powertrix(HSD) Solid Upper Pillow Ball 15-way Adjustable Full Race Coilovers. Full R32 Skyline Brake Setup. DP Motorsports Carrera Cup 18" Wheels. 99+ JDM Fascia. Stillen GTZ Rear Valence.

This car is Autocrossed and driven hard daily. I personally performed all upgrades myself.

Best Drag Time here was by Tranys (Owen Traynor) in his 2+0 blue NA Z32 in a time of 14.547. I seem to remember his zed being only lightly modded too

    no offence taken...

My zed is not a track car, and I've never really had any interest in taking it on a drag strip or race track...

as for all this talk about dyno numbers, pah, I dont really pay any attention to it unless I see a dyno sheet to prove it.... and even then, its not that hard to fudge a dyno sheet.... so to each their own I guess....

nor do I pay attention to people who claim they have a really fast NA because they can take it through the "twisties" and that it can whoop all TT's on the forum...... but yet never compete or turn up at any organised track event to show their merit.

I hope you get a really awesome figure on the dyno and are pleased with the result. :)

    Cheers

Owen was a gun driver, bit of a freak behind the wheel. You'll get there Rob if you spend the $$ and practise practise practise.

Best way to see how your car stacks up is same dyno, same day against others. Even using a standard format, different dynos of the same make can give vastly different results so any figure should be taken with a grain of salt as you say.

I am more after getting a nice smooth ride, good A/F ratio figures and any power/torque gains are a bonus :zlove:

I REALLY want to go to the track too, so may have to organise a time at the barbargello circuit and get a time on the board ;)

    Cheers

is your car even ready for a dyno tune ?.

this is what you should be asking ,,,

should also not compare your car to any ones, ,,

marks car is what it is .. and it is also a very nice car ,,

and i can assure you , that if mark wanted to compete with other people ,, he would !!!!

build a car for you , and not for the forum , or any one ...

Was only refering to his car being at the top of the dyno lists on aus300zx. My car is being built for me and not to look good on the forums. I enjoy my car and am getting more confident with mechanical work as a result of owning her.

My car is the readiest it has ever been for a dyno tune, so now is a good time :)

    Cheers
