oh na no offense takken, i know its not sh*t there beautiful cars as stock turbo or non in my opinion. just want minor improvements to make it that bit better than stock. =)
i dont appreciate your crappy posts telling me i have a thick head i or anyone else doesnt need to here that i personally think that comes under harrasment i have listened to everyone on here like i keep f**king saying and i never said your speaking out your ar*e. ok so youve spent thousands and in your own opinion you think its wasting money (and other people do here aswell) and makes it uncomfortable 2 drive on a day to day basis, but i or other people might think differently. i never once here said i am going 2 spend thousands is my thread called = hi , i have an auto n/a and want 2 gain extreme horsepower and spend thousands and thousands of dollars and have people like you call me thick headed or im lost etc. no it quite clearly states, hello again im starting a new thread cos my other one (power upgrades) got a bit out of control! i own a 1993 nissan 300zx it a n/a , auto 2+2 im am looking to improve general power, handling etc. i bought it cos thats what i wanted and it was the best around at the time compared to all the others i looked at ie turbo, manual and what i have got now. i dont want it to be a drag or track car and i am not asking to gain 300kws or anything it is just my daily driver and pride and joy i know its auto and n/a, but this time can i please not get burnt on the cross for wanting to improve my dream car and get told im wasting my time cos its auto and n/a! just genuine honest help. i hope this is a bit more clearer this time round thanks and kind regards to everyone chris. =) who doesnt wish nos was legal for any car doesnt mean if it was i would have it anyway it was just a statement about what some else said. so if you dont have anything polite to say or any polite advise please do not post anymore on this thread. thanks and kind regards chris =)
ok thankyou, for your honesty at this present time i dont have a massive amount of coin to spend. i dont really want 2 spend $50g just basic stuff like your pods etc just to get me that bit better than stock in most areas. i just thought i would get the basic performance, handling etc help ideas like i asked 4 thats all. not whats going 2 cost me up to 50g ok just say i want 2 spend $5g would that be a decent amount and not 2 much 2 put in my n/a.
That's what i'm giving you!! But I can see now you only want advice that you agree with, so my advice brought about from personal experience is useless I guess. I'm not some TT guy saying 'oh NA's a shit'. What i'm saying is the BEST improvement you can do is get it running perfect, new pads, fluids, plenum pull etc etc. Maybe a nice cat back exhaust and leave it at that. Stop getting cranky when you're given honest advice.
i wouldnt get cranky if it was just honest advise but telling someone they have a thick head who you dont know is not very honest and has nothing to do with my car! ok thankyou. im open to all advise even if i dont want to here it thats why i came on here. because everyone here owns a 300.
Well I wouldn't get cranky if you'd just accept my advice Try to help a man these days and you get ignored and then abused. You've been given all the information and advice you could ever need, for both arguments. Now decide which road you'll take and go do something.

oh yeah i guess it all so depends on what the rd surface is like to there is a piece of rd near my house that is slippery as guess it has lot of oil or stuff on it and i loose traction easier than normal wether its dry or wet. wet is more fun/slippery. was your pintara your 1st car. ill try and dig out the figures
haha yes oil or water has that effect. Doesn't make your car epically powerful (not saying it's not, but as I said the pintara will skid happily in the dry on a good road). Yes pintara was my first car, still in the family though, i let the missus use it. Get back to us with the figures, no point with engine mods unless you're confident your engine is pretty stock.
Can you explain briefly the idea behind an "auto trans Shift Kit"? Sounds rather an interesting concept
