Cheers mate but my error with the gearing was pointed out earlier. Nowhere did I say a TTZ would struggle to hit 180, just that most wouldn't. If you're hitting 180 on James Ruse and 200 in the drive then you're one of the knuckle heads that unfortunately is an exception to the rule!
I don't know what you're on, but it sure as Hell is mind altering(and if I did know who you are, I would be taking steps to have you removed from public roads). I suggest that having you brag about that behaviour is NOT productive on this or any other car enthusiasts forum. The next time someone here feels like bitching about Police 'victimisation', spare a few words of criticism for this individual.
Mad thread dig. On a side note top speed for a Z over the standing mile is still only 270km/h But I still like 300km/h dash 'cause it says "Nismo" lol
Its how its made. Ive got one of these 300km speedo faces which i intend to sell at somepoint in time.
Having been fortunate enough / dumb enough, to go for top speed (330) in one of the cars and reflecting on when I had a TTZ with good power. Not even close. Power, gearing and stability just isn't there. Also, that fast just isn't all that fun.
:agree: Thank you I have one fitted and paid to have it all checked out. When I google the picks on that type with Z at the top they all looked like mine just off the mark. I feel better with your reply (Thanks ) :br::zlove: Cheers Peter RTE38 :rolleyes2:
Nice speedo I've got a mines 300km in my z, how do you change your fuel gauge to the stock boost gauge spot ?
Yes, around about the line, But just going off my recorded result. @rob260 there isn't a "mile" event in Australia to my knowledge. I wish there was.. Extra 600m would make things interesting
So, for the purpose of this thread, a 300 km/h Speedo can be useful Was it close to the recorded result?
