I used to use a haynes manual for all my other cars, does anyone know why they don't have one for the z32? They do for the z31...

Do you have to download them all?

Seems even the manuals are quite large at 80+MB - must be something different

This would be good for mods to put each one into the tech section given they have the various years.

Rob, Its another zip type file.. I think a program like Winrar will do the trick. same as winzip really.

 

You extract it using a program called WinRAR - sometimes you can extract it with Winzip as well being a compressed file, but WinRAR is a very common extractor and was used obviously used in this case to compress the file as it is labelled "RAR" file, whereas a Winzip file would be called "Zip".

Hope that helps - WinRAR is a handy file compressor - it can prevent pieces of information being lost such as pixels in pictures and it can compress a file right down to a tenth of the size in some cases (depending on what you set the compression ratio at) and whether the file is the right type for that sort of heavy duty compression.

Winzip and WinRAR are the most common extractors and compressors

Very handy for sending information/ files over the internet quickly, intact and in reduced size!

Are these documents the same as the ones we have in the tech section? Are they images of the same pages that is in the Android Z manual?

The different file sizes could be due to different PDF compressor settings by whoever scanned the documents.

Whoever is checking these documents out, please post a comment on what you find when you open the compressed file.

It is possible that these fast.isz are image files. Need the program that created them to open / view. Might be that these files are used to create a CD.

 

I have had various programs on a PC that I have retired years ago, that would have been used to write CDs with the data.
There are a few IT-ish guys on this forum who might have a program on their PC.
