mmm i reckon i'll be ok for the time being. 14kg springs, and -6ish camber till i can pump the guards a little. and stef they handled exactly the same as my last wheel set up. i test fitted the fronts, 6 months back, and they didnt hit anywhere or scrub so luckily no adverse reactions yet from such low offsets.
Hey Rod, looks tops mate. I really love the work wheels and actually after a set myself but more for the track so a 10" +35. Even with 14kg springs I really think your going have major problems with rubbing. Either way mate looks good....they are a 2 peice wheel aren't they? At a later date you could probally change the rears to a 10"+20 for a bit less neg camber. Cheers Matt
thanks heaps matt yeah i know what you mean, im bringing in a set of xd9's in a 9 +10, 10 + 20 set up for track, will sit perfectly and not compromise too much camber / track. hmm, you could be right, but the quick test i gave with all the dudes (one was 100kg) it didnt even come close to scrubbage so i may get away with it. but im running stupid amounts of camber to achieve that. as posted, will be give the guards a slight pull, then taking out as much camber as i can, running around -3/-3.5 max. im loving the dish, so dont really want to look for a new lip haha, but im loving the fact they are 2 piece, pulling apart and polishing this w.e
Looks great mate, not a huge fan of the V.I.P style, but your Z manages to pull it off great! :zlove:
Hahaha YES!!!, oooh speaking of VIP, yesterday I saw a Toyota Alphard, i think im in love, think VIP van, then times it by 10 with awesome and luxury-ness
Yeah been waiting for the Coilovers to arrive, finally got them last Friday so fitted them and wheels on weekend, Sits about same as yours did with these wheels, Very happy with it. :zlove: I'll get some pics up shortly. Cheers Dave
