Sorry Rod, I think you're a top bloke but I think you're being a tad harsh here to all NA owners, not just Nem. did you not own an NA at some stage too? If it was so shit then I struggle to see why you owned one?... Just because we aren't all on our full licence and can't drive TT's then I don't see why we always get hounded for it. I'm sure that 99% of NA drivers would upgrade to a TT if permitted... I can see where you're coming from, yes Nem does love his NA but has reason to in my opinion. Yes, i'm sure a TT would give him a good run but when comparing it to most other NA's out there I think he and his car are fairly high up there. I'm not sucking up anyones arse here as I can see both sides of the story, both of you know your shit and neither of you will back down.
na owners should be forced to upgrade to turbo when buying a vehicle such as the 300zx. (waits for ban)
How is an NA any more unreliable than a TT? And with suspension set up like yours, you won't make the first corner.
Only reason I had an NA was due to P plate laws and there was a reason it only lasted as an NA for a year Jamie. Harsh or not its my choice. I've owned one, I have my opinion! But parading around calling other peoples cars slow, constantly talking the NA up to something it's not pisses me off. Which is why the majority of us have our NA's too... Who wouldn't prefer to drive a TT compared to a NA... Yeah, we all like to talk our cars up. Most of us do it all bullshit aside. I guess you've got to have something to back it up with. I definitely wouldn't go comparing my NA to a TT no matter how much it's modded. Serious question though Rod. Say you were a P plater again and you had your choice of an NA or some other car like a POS commonwhore. Is there a whole lot that would exceed an NA? (Within p plater regulations?)
