    So Sorry to hear

I'm so sorry to hear to hear about your 300zx. I'm glad that they have recovered it though!! My mate has had a few cars stolen from the GC highway and we managed to track them down via wrecking yards, but this does sound suspect.

I hope that you catch these dirty scum bags who deserve to be swimming in lakes of shit with their mouths open.

If you get some parts together and need a hand to install them I'll be there for sure!! As I'm also on the GC I'll keep my eyes and ears open

I don't have any parts here to donate

, but That is an amazing effort from John at Cresta, I and I would be happy to donate my time and trailer at no cost to transport it for you to your place (assuming you and the car are in Bris).

Maybe we can have a tech day to put the car back together and clean it up.

    Terrible!

I really feel for you mate and wish you the best in catching those bastards!
That makes me feel sick and is something I have always dreaded owning the Zed.

I dont know the state of the back of your car...did they trash the tail lights or centre panel?? I can offer you my old tail lights and centre panel for free if you need them...only have to pay for shipping costs.

and on another note, its great to see the zed community helping someone in need :zlove:

 What a bunch of mofo gits...

Keep an eye out for that wing, it's pretty rare that you ever see a Z with that style wing i'd say.

i read this last night and couldn't believe it. my sympathies dood.

you should definitely see if your insurance will honour it - i wouldn't give up on that! :)

good call on the parts mark. I can't offer much myself. I have a stock nose panel (aztec red tho), replaced my HKS air pod filter last weekend that you can have and i'm about to replace my SMICs with the FMIC GB if you need 'em.

hey man....sorry to hear about it too

    god...words cant explain it....

I might not have access to much or alot of parts but i want to try and help!

I will have a nose panel (the one between head lights) i can donate and send for free if you like. Can donate the front bar too for free, but wont be for a few months as i need cash for the new kit. if u can wait for it, sure ill give.

When u can put up a list of shit you need, and cross em off if people donate something! Would be helpful!

    CrestaJohn NEW 'OEM' PARTS

    Thanks Vincent,

the 300zx community supports Cresta so it is the least we can do to try and help out in this situation.
I doubt very much that you would see this kind of generosity from forum members on any other forum and its encouraging to know that people today still care.
Wouldn't it be great to see the car back on the road in pristine condition all due to the efforts by this forum, whether it be by product or just wanting to lend a hand.

    Makes it all worth while!!!!!

And I would love it if someone came in here wanting to sell me some 300zx gear. It would make my day! However, I think the stuff is long gone by now.

Mate, you have my sympathies. I get really Pi**ed off when I see stuff like that. People have no respect! Of course the court sees this as a victimless crime - tell that to the poor basterd who's spent their time, money and energy building the car up!

Takes me back to when my pride & joy at the time (LJ Torana) had much the same done, although to add insult to injury, more stuff was knocked off after the original theives dumped it - then even more in the holding yard! Got ripped off by the insurance too (around 1/4 value of the car).

Looks like you had the same thing too - someone building the same car - in this case a Zed, as the parts are too specific. Thankfully the car wasn't burnt out.

Consolation - I rebuilt that LJ and it was better second time around.

The great thing is the support and help that's been offered. If I were in QLD I'd lend a hand too.

    Hang in there.

    Simon.

PS. Know anyone building a Zed? Odds are they're local and they know your car.

    Egg ....

    Good onya John.

I've had nothing but exceptional service from Cresta.
Very nice to see such a generous offer after such a mindless act.
Geeez, they could have just pinched your gear, but no they had to smash and damage stuff just for fun. Hope they catch the scumbags!

Eastern Eye !!! MOST WANTED !!!

hey polished, thats so sad to hear. I'd be devistated if that happened to my zed, one of my old cars were stolen and torched, but its just wrong for people that dont respect others things, and as some one mentioned earlier, looks like they been eyeing yours for a while if they knew exactly wat they took     Best of lucky if you are getting it back on the road.

U have a nice day, would seem to be a personal comment, also they took the car while you were away, that would seem to indicate they new your movements, Look close to home man, and make them pay, before handing them to the cops:mad:

Thats terrible. Could i ask the forum members a favour and ask them to stop quoting his first post with the pictures, everytime i see those pictures its like i can see my zed like that and once was enough for me. Its becaue of this that i wouldn't buy anything stolen, i always think about how i would feel if someone stole my zed, stripped her and sold the parts for some easy cash.

Hows the whole insurance thingy going, hope the heartless bastards pay you. Best of luck mate

Tektrader Z32 Hoe, service me baby

After what I have done to get my project car back together, with the mods etc.

If that happened to my car and I caught them doing it. I hope you guys would visit me in jail.

I honestly beleive I would totally lose it. I can only guess what the consquences for the perpetrators would be when I got hold of them. It wouldnt be pretty.

I suggest you post up a list of what you need to put this back together.

It would help as I have a heap of stuff here but cant see what you need. I have a spare 2+2 hatch glass if you need it.

Jeremy. When you get back, please

start a new thread detailing what parts and support/help you need.

It looks like (given the obvious generosity of the forum members demonstrated so far) that you will be able to get almost everything donated. If you need help installing you know you can call on us locals.

    Head up mate:)

PS: I'd try the insurance claim suggestion I made earlier before you do anything else...
