She wouldn't start because of 2 reasons, over the 4 months, the plugs for my CAS & PTU started to corrode causing the no spark issue. The other issue was the wrong Tune which was just dumping fuel into the cylinders.

The other plugs for things like Injectors, Coil Packs, FICD, AAC and Air Reg corroded too, but the reason those didn't affect me is if you recall, I changed all those plugs with brand new ones.

Then having put on an incorrect tune, which caused fouled plugs.

So in the end, cleaned plugs, uploaded new Tune and she started within seconds of cranking. Very happy with the result.

As for the Oil Leak, I've located it... little bit late now, but it just may be doable with the engine still in.

    Current Location...

Location on old Block (same spot, just to give you an idea of where on the Block)

And while I was building the f'in thing, right infront of me and didn't even realize it... :bash:

And if I have to circle it in the next picture, you shouldn't even be reading this...

Great to hear it's started! :)

That bung will be a relatively simple job to install with the right tools, even if you have to make a hammer to suit using a bit of tube and solid bar it'll be easier than pulling the engine.

Just a note on this. I tested my coil packs this way and all tested within range. I later found out that one was faulty but was only failing at higher revs. Changed it and all was fixed. Cant always trust the multimeter.

Yea Glen, she's humming like a Kitten now (more like growling like a beast, lol), few very minor tweaks and she'll back on the road in less then a week.

I already put in that bung about an hour after I put up that post, sealed up good. Started her up again and loving every blissful second of her growling away and even more so the Turbos' constant whistling noises in the background. It. Is. Insane... Never thought I'd own something like this.

I'm getting a last video for the night up to give you guys a better idea of what I mean. Should be done in about 30 minutes, uploading included.

    Update: Engine Up & Running

So here it is, finally, after 4 long months of sacrificing at least 200+ hours... I give you Jordan MK2. Yes I named her Jordan. Ask me later if you really want to know.

This video absolutely does not do this thing justice. It fires up from barely a tick of the key. I've seen some Zeds sitting there cranking forever, this thing starts in less then half a second. I love it. Then theres sheer loudness, something I've missed a little driving a Factory EXA around. And lastly, my favourite by far... the Turbos' whistling in the background, one could mistake this for a Jet Engine at times, and even more ridiculous is hearing the Turbos still wind down after the Engine has been shut off! :D :zlove:

Do yourselves a favour, either come by and listen to her tomorrow sometime for those who can make it, or listen to the video on a large system with the volume and bass WAY up, to get even a remote sense of what it was like to stand in her presence tonight as she rumbled, and shook my very core with each pulse... She still needs a little fine tuning, but shes off to an epic start!

Gentlemen... I am in love, all over again...

Congratulations, Emile! Can't wait to see the final product and it on the road. Sounds awesome and I only listened to it from an iPhone.

Words can not explain my rage at this part... I am insulted!... lol! :p

Expect lot of videos in the coming year, and good quality stuff, no bloody 360p shit... 720p minimum. I have both a good DSLR and very recently purchased a Go Pro2 HD (Motorsport Package) camera which I'll be taking along to anything from cruises to drag events to circuit days. :)

And thanks mate, hasn't been easy and has taken quite a toll on my personal life sadly. Glad to finally see results from all that work.

I've just rolled in from work and waited a while on my PC to see if you posted anything. Got bored so jumped into bed and checked the forums on my phone. I'll be sure to check it when I wake up tomorrow morning though ;)

Sounds awesome man well done, one thing though resist the urge to let her idle!
Leave it until its ready to hit the road or to the tuner if you have to.

You don't want to ruin all this hard work.

Yea, the urge is VERY strong... :(

She'll be hitting the road sometime late next week but technically speaking, I could throw some tyres onto the front right now and shes 100% fully mobile... minus an exhaust system and fenders lol.

I think he has a copy of his final 375rwkw tune Mike not the super rich tune. If not the case the definitely go as per Mike said.

    I still wouldn't be banging in a 375kw tune straight up :)

Well at this stage I wouldn't use it to drive it around, it'd be more to just go back and see if it would have been possible to start her on that tune if I wasn't such a Nistune noob. I feel like I've unfairly bagged it out somehow heh, would like the record clear that it wasn't the tune at all, but my screw up instead. :(

    Thats all.

No, I was just going to leave it in my backyard to look at and admire from time to time.... of course I was going to tune the bitch and see how hard fast I can make her scream down the strip!

I think Ron (Wiz) said something along the lines of 'build it, to really enjoy & thrash it'. Smart words.

Update: Back on the ground and moving

So took it a little slow today. My SMIC Ducts came in from brisz (John) yesterday and I put them on today.

    Today completion list:

    - SMIC Ducts Installed
    - Brake Pads finally back in, Fluid also topped up and entire system bled (the order from Service Manual is Rear Left, Rear Right, Front Left, Front Right, Front ABS, Rear ABS for those curious...)
    - Fenders arrive from Melbourne and installed but they need a bit of work and respray
    - Put all Tyres back on and reversed her back to clean up (yes, reversed using the Engine... it works and moves on its own now!!! :D)
    - Changed Tune to Rich Tune
    - Driveshaft & Gearbox Mount installed again (had to drop Gearbox last week to fix something)

I did run into something annoying. I found that it flatly refused to rev past 3K RPM, the symptoms seem to point to MAF problem. I'll take a look at it another day.

    And finally some pictures. :)
