mm autosalons getting to off track these days anyways. to many old farts with their my00 subarus and 12' rays rims. makes me laugh. but a show n shine is only good when a mix of cars go. then the zed stand out.
I hope they have been put off to be honest. I dont want some idiot in a bog stock 300zx with a crappy silver paintjob and ugly polished rims entering his car in show designed for WOW factor etc. It makes the rest of us look like absolute tools and is the total opposite of what you are trying to achieve Why would seeing a stock car make them stop underestimating our cars? If you REALLY want to enter autosalon, pull your finger out, work overtime, save cash and trick out your zed to the max and enter it. Tell me when you wake up from your fantasy mate, the 300zx is about 18 years old. These cars are alot slower than what they are from factory and in stock form wont compete with many of the recently released performance cars. Sure it's a nice car but it isn't the ultimate, stop acting like it is becuase you make the rest of us look like absolute wankers... you sound like you should have bought a skyline gts-t

you are right on that one, well the last few salons anyway for exactly the reason were discussing here. Thats why i hate autosalon and dont go to it no more. Back in the real Autosalon days though... different story.
well zedifieid why would you go? theres only stock bog commodores/bmws and shit else there. last time i went i was in ad out of the toilets for tissures as i was crying with laughter at some of the monstrosities they call "show cars". so a stock bog zed is disrespecting the club. HAHA. what plannet are you on? theres no difference, and whats it matter if a zed that is stock enters. shou;d fit in nicely with all the other stog bog entries. however if you enter.. not all cars go into the "compition". there is the general entry for a show n shine part.. or did u not read the autosalon website? all you need to say is " dont put a aus 300zx banner above the stand" done. rather than rant like a total dhead. my 2 cents worth.

No it isn't disrespecting the club as this is not a club, however it does make us look like total losers, like those commodore drivers. They shouldn't be entering stock cars BECAUSE he said he wants to show people not to underestimate the zed., "or did u not read" his post? Fair enough if he said that, but he didn't. Even then i will still laugh at the stock 300zx's there. Actually, ill just go to autosalon this year so i can come up to your stand and laugh at how crappy the cars look.
haha thats fine with me mate. jsut make sure u bring the tissues for both of us. and i couldnt give a flyen toss really haha. if you had enough guts to actually do it with me there id shake our hand. all in all there may not be a stand.. but if there is (and i hope there is) i hope you realise that were not going there to enter the massive comp of horsepower or sound but rather promote clean, neat "street" cars. and as im sure no stock cars would enter. its got to be better than being a sad little man that comes along ot laugh at what people like in their car, and not follow the trend like a mimiking wank. however when i look at a 100 thousdand dollar "show car" i think wow! i'l admit that. but then i think. why the f**k would you bother?! you cant drive that! you cant go to the movies/pick up mates in it. its not legal nor a car rather a piece of steel that can go fast, provided its on a dyno. more a less a waste of money and time. so thats y im going to enter my car. cause unlike some pathetic people who care what people think i dont. and what hope would my car have against a sponosred chargespeed spoon? For someone in their right mind (unlike your self), it means that while most of society see Z cars on the road as old and battered, they will now have an opportunity to see a Z car while it is nicely maintained, whether heavily or lightly modified, or as you put it "bog stock". Remember, as mr z x put it, there is a show and shine section at the event. So stop ranting like a wimp and if you dont like our "crappy silver paintjob" Z's being in the show, just dont go. Hi federer, i wouldnt bring mine down because mine isnt show car material. stock? no i wouldnt say stock but it isnt heavily modified, i have a fairly clean street car. Devil yellow, 18 enkei's, bomex front bar, exhaust, fmic, dvd headunit, apexi avcr and neo and different gear ratio's. Sure its ok and people like to look on the street but never would i get the idea to enter in an autosalon, it just isnt good enough :bash: Nadal > Federer
but thats the thing mate. thats what we want there.... mines not show quality. 19" konig rims., gunmetal (respray in 2 weeks), full 2000 spec light upgrade. exhaust. engine bay dress up. strut bar, double din unit, full calrion sound. apexi ecu spec 3. as well as stillen air yet to be done. im not going there to wina competition. but rather show the public that although this is a 18 year old car, it stil gives the new cars a run for their money in the looks department. to show other drivers that aus300zx has fair decent cars and what else can you ask for. after all. its only the show n shine we are entering so i dont get why the big tantrume. :bash:
