Excitement for the day:- R33ks Car falling apart on the day, Black Baz picking up the litter Sweetchuck losing a timing belt on the way to the meetpoint (heartbreaking) - Sheared an idler pulley bolt I think. Someone trying to charge us $5 per car to park on his lawn (vacant block opposite the cafe) Other than that, plain sailing. We all missed you Benny_C, and so did the pub A merry Xmas to all
well... There i was, just minding my own business cruising along at the speed limit, when the wind deflector from under the radiator decides to depart company with the rest of the car!!! ... must of forgotten to fix it back on after plenum pull... Great day, new faces, and sooo good to get my car back on the road, she's purring!!! Thanks rob, i'm quite happy with it too!!!

Heres how I got Home Car going beautifully till I hit the Gatton Bypass then Crash Bang Boom !!! No power .. pulled over and found the lower plenum Timing belt pully had snapped clean off . and even punched a hole in the timing cover. I can't believe such a thing could happen . I suppose it has been apart and tightened too many times . So pissed off I have decided to loose my Z in favour of swimming pool. BTW the tilt tray that picked me up "plug Sowerbys towing " cost $60 Picked me up from home and dropped the Heap of shit in the shed. So long
What a surperb day for driving a Zed. Great weather, great bunch of blokes and gals. We did have a blast. The NA's held their own to an extent. Nice passing manoeuvres to be seen in rear view mirrors and into sharp right hand corner by fleet and R33k. Great vision blokes. Even had the local Zed Cab available (Black Baz) Great photos for every to share.
Thanks man, I 'm just pissed off that I missed the cruise and meeting you all . which ones FATE . Has he got the Afro ?? I am confident that the engine is still ok , have a bit more valve clearance with forgies , lucky i have a spare lower plenum. I am being optimistic at this stage but it is time to say bye bye to my love hate relationship !!!! :zlove:

Forum fundraising thankyou... To outsiders it must have resembled dope-dealing at the Pie Factory but in fact over $100 changed hands for aus300zx.com window stickers & ZedStuff cd's. Black Baz has, to date, raised approx. $500 from cd donations alone. Well done Barry :zlove:

Had a great time. Was my first cruise an was very impressed of how organised it was. Alot different to any other cruise i have been on. Meet a few ppl. But i left as soon as we got to the cafe as i could not stand my headace ANYMORE!! Lucky r33k was in the right lane when he decided to lose a bit of weight or i think me an a few others would of caught it.

HUGE THANKYOU to Chris (Zedexer) for letting me drive Kermit Just sorry I couldn't take her for a longer more exciting strap with you GREATLY APPRECIATED MUCH THE SAME And Simonzx who was kind enough to have me along as his PSA for the day.. BLOODY FANTASTIC! Even if Simon had some random paranoid woman follow him home and park in his driveways. (She thought that she was meant to follow us) The woman was very confused and her words were to the extent that she was escaping an awkward situation and thought she was suppose to follow us. It was clear when leading her back onto the motorway and down to Seaworld that she was definitely stressed and scared of something, her constant swaying from lane to lane was starting to worry both of us. Never a Dull moment when your out on a Z cruise.. HOW GOOD WAS THE MEALS Saw everyone getting stuck in to their tiny little plates and thought to myself... Seafood basket looks so much better tasted so damn good. size of 3 meals all on it's own Can't wait to get my Zed back even if it is for 1 last cruise to have as much fun as some of the boys did along the straight n narrow roads out the back of Jacobs Well. What a BLAST!!! Always a pleasure meeting up with you all, as opposed to R33k MEATING up with Brissie Beauty this evening . Sean
