Either a SW20 electric one or nothing at all. We'll see how heavy and awful it is first If it lightens up enough with speed I will probably be able to live with it.

 

I thought about ditching it as well, but with really sticky 235's on the front it's going to be a complete pain at low speed, combined with my twin plate clutch, parking would be very hard

Only thing I'm dissapoited about is the lack of Nismo stickers I want some real ones to chuck on my riced out tool box


Also came with two new taper roller bearings, a diff gasket and the two seals. No idea how to install it

Had my last exam for the year today! So I decided to treat myself...

Bought a '93 model NA Slicktop in mint condition with a dodgy engine.

Even has a rebuilt 5 speed So clean, paint is perfect, rubbers are all original but in good nick, engine loom still has the little labels on the coilpack plugs and are perfectly readable, retrimed interior, huge sterio

Pity it's red and has a Veilside kit Some stuff for sale off that soon, big wheels, Tein SS's and some other gear. Oh yeah, also my black 2+2

Will be right into my little project over the next few weeks, no uni to drain my time and the shed is nearly done!

Probably. Still short a rear bumper and rear seatbelts though...

Will probably get the 2+2 working again and sell it as a car rather than a shell (unless someone wants it like that, it's CHEAP! Yay!)

The colours aren't too awful, not great but bearable for now.

The back will drop down another inch or two, just the way it is tied up that makes it look like that.

Doesn't look like much room for the turb's though, might have to put the thinking cap on.

VG NA clutch and fly with VG bolts fits fine. Might need to machine the crank or pilot bush to get the input shaft to fit properly though. Have to crack out the micrometer and have a lookee see before I start with the hammer




Also put on the front Super Streets and ripped out all the air con and power steering gear. Going to start pulling the dash tomorrow I think, want to get the old loom out.

 

Yeah, but can you close the bonnet??? LMAO!!

Broke my block didn't I!

Looks like I cross threaded the bolt for the engine stand when I put it on 6 months ago.

I've managed to get another one in a hurry, but still PITA! Major set back. Have to do all the above again, strip it down, clean it up, bleed lifters, new timing chain stuff etc. Was going to start on my mounts in the next week or so too!

Might have a VH for sale soon, hardly broken at all It'll be cheap, watch this space... It's probably repairable if you know someone in the know. I'd rather not chance it.

 

oh dude !!! thats horrible. couldnt u fill that with weld and tap a new hole mate!
