JaMeSz007 is demanding money from me with menaces

James JaMeSz007 from South Australia purchased the
shell of my 300zx that I am wreaking. After inspecting the shell in person and paying for it, he failed to remove
it for almost a month (he was supposed to remove it that day). He finaly had 2 of his mates collect the shell on a
car trailer this Saturday (04/07/2009), while they were collecting the car one of them accused me of removing the
gear shift after James had paid for the shell. He insisted that he had photos that James took when he purchased
the shell showing that the gear shift was still on the car. I explained that it was removed prior to James purchasing
the shell. He was insistent that I had removed it afterwards but said it didn't matter because it was going to be a
manual anyway. I wasn't concerned because I know it was removed prior to purchase.

Wtf are you talking about? Nothing was removed after you came and paid, the only time i've touched the shell since
was to screw the fuel tank covers on like you asked. Your mate was trying to accuse me of removing the gear shift
after you bought it, but that was removed before you inspected the car and paid for it.

Cruise control gear was all intact when I paid for the car! As well as fuse box covers steering wheel cover and boot
seal. I know these parts Were there when I paid! I'll call you in the morning to arrange delivery

I think you need to re-check the photos you took of the shell when you came and paid for it (not the photos i emailed
you) and you will see that nothing has been removed since then. When I emailed you photos i said "there could be a few
more parts removed from the car before you pick it up" and there were, but nothing was removed after you paid for it.

James accused me of removing the cruise control gear, stearing wheel cover, boot seal, fuse box covers and recirc
valves after he had paid for the shell. He insisted that he specifically noticed that these parts were on the shell
when he inspected the shell and paid for it.
I explained that nothing had been removed from the shell after he paid for it and that all of those parts were removed
prior to that.
He insisted that they were on the shell when he paid.
I asked him if he was positive that the recirc valves were on the car, and he said yes.
I explained that the recirc valves had been removed and the hoses off of them were sold to a forum member in WA prior
to him paying for the shell.
I told him to check the z forum and he could see photos of the recirc valves off of the car in my for sale post.
James ended the conversation by calling me a "****ing idiot"

I would rather you apologise for accusing me, and stop trying to rip me off. I was prepared to accept that you could
have been confused because the cruise control etc were still on the car in the photos i sent you, but you have made
it clear you are just trying to scam me. It makes sense to me now why i had z forum members warning me to be careful
dealing with you.

I can prove that the recirc valves were off of the shell prior to James purchasing it:

And 2 of the photos here and here that I emailed to James on 02/06/2009 clearly show that the
recirc valves have already been removed.

The other parts were remove from the shell in the few days prior to James coming to inspect the shell and pay for it.
I didn't take any photos of the shell in this condition but if James actually has photos that he took when he paid for
the shell they will clearly show that these parts were already removed. I know that there is no way that James can
prove that these parts were on the shell when he purchased it because they were not, but I don't apreciate someone
demanding money from me with menaces.

 

What a douche! For 200, he can have my whole steering wheel with leather cover and cruise control "diafram solenoid and throttle cable thingy". Will even throw in a stick to shove up his arse at no extra cost!

I paid for something from a member once and never even got it. I didn't bother getting up him about it as I knew it would get me no where. I hope he cools off and all ends well. If not I have a pit bull you can borrow

 

That behaviour is not acceptable. I would consider getting a restraining warrant if he decides to contact you again.

Personally I would have done my homework re Jamesz007 before selling him anything.. The way he operates is clearly documented on this forum..

Who cares mate, James007 ripped me off. Sold me a wiring loom that was supposedly in great condition, it had a cut AFM plug and clips and shit missing, weeks to arrive. I say good on you. Don't give him a cent back.

 

Ask the gaylord for "his" photo's so you can see the alledgedly stolen parts still in position (Im figuring they wont be sent because they prove that your not lying). If he continues to accuse you of theft, just tell him it was taken in leu of storage fees

 

I hope you took my fog lights off before you took any pictures. Otherwise jamesz007 may be chasing me too. He may have to make a tour of the whole country to recover everything that once was on that car.

 

Dont worry about the moron, if he ever comes to your house to say "Hi" beat the living crap out of him (if he tries to harm you..) . Other than that you should ignore him.

i for one, would come say hi back to james. having delt with you before flame, i know your an honest guy and im pretty sure you wouldnt deceive.

either way dude, like other guys said, dont lose sleep. more than likely just empty threats - really lame, and an incredibly inappropriate way to resolve a situation.

 

Easy solution - Jamesz007 - post YOUR photo's from when you inspected and purchased the shell showing the allegedy removed parts.

No Photos = You have some apologies to dish out.....fast, or you should be removed from the forum.

If the photo's show the missing parts (and they're your photo's, not the ones from the ad), then maybe "flame" can explain what happened.

Either way James, the threats weren't warranted. Poor Form.
