I think there's something in that for all of us, don't you? :p:p:p:D:D:zlove:
OK! You've talked me into it, you smooth talking hunk of man-meat. Undergound Street Racing is not really big in Australia as we don't have many underground streets(or tunnels, as we prefer to call them), and the Spectator Areas are pretty risky, given that those tiled walls can give you a really bad cold, and they are a trifle close to the action.

why own a Turbocharged car if you turbo's have never have reached full boost before?

When cruiseing around i have seen old people in there 60 on. who own brand new 80-300k sports cars. the only reason most of these oldys buy expensive sports cars is so that they have a chance to pic up girls quarter there age. or
they have dreamed of owning a fast expensive car but they were just too old when they Finally got there hands on there super.

I'm not trying to taint this forum but people have there own opinion on things i respect that you don't like to go over the speed limit why cant you respect that now and then i can get a little heavy footed.

by the way i didn't say i was in the the fast and the furious scene i was just wondering if you get people like that here because i didn't think we were in to that sorta thing over here.

AND ALSO if you able to respect the zed and maintain it well then you deserve to own a zed

Too add you don't reach full boost by driving at 60 i don't think boost even cut in accelerating slow so what is the point in owning turbo's ?

    Chain of Events

There is a chain of events that goes like this:

Idiots in cars upset the public.
The media get on to a story
The politicians must be seen to act.
The cops hassle everyone that has a nice car.

If you want to prove you are fast then go to a track.

The way I see it is if the nobs in charge actually gave a toss about road safety there would be venues for people to go and race legally because they are going to do it one way or another, so might as well get it off the street(having to drive several hours to get to one is not good enough). People have been doing this since the advent of cars and before with horses.

In the perfect society pollies think they are creating, nobody will die of anything, everyone treats everyone else with respect and we all treat pollies like rock star gods.

too true, the venues are sorely lacking.. I get to run at the drags twice / year only. ie. the only time they're held on the weekend, the location is ridiculous too.

I'd rather my tax dollars are spent on health, the .....

environment, education, better roads, public transport, etc (not necessarily in that order). If someone wants a track to go test their car, that should not be out of my hard earned (tax) dollars.

    My 2c worth anyway......:)

i'm wondering if it could possibly be interpereted as a common sense move if the NSW Government bought that racetrack for sale and set it up for street registered racing and as a driver training complex, obviously it would have to be government funded to make it affordable but the potential savings in police man hours and medical expenses not to mention insurance would surely make it economically feasible, still common sense decisions are not what governments are known for so it's pretty much pissing into the wind methinks

I want to feel the G's push me back in my seat!!!

In Adelaide we got only one drag strip A.I.R and i think there doing some work to it at the moment so its off limits thats what i herd.
drag only come once a month or so anyways and i really do want to go but never dragged raced before and don't wont to make a fool of my self in front of a judge mental crowed.

I really want to know what my car can do I'm guessing a 14.2 when running at its peak.

i haven't driven my zed for a while now and I'm feeling the withdraw symptoms:zlove: :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:

dose anyone know if A.I.R have a practice night where i can give it a go with out much spectators ?

Love your reasoning, you pre-pubescent drongo. The vast majority of Zed owners on this forum are(by your standards) "oldies". We got that way by possessing a keen sense of cunning, and self-preservation. If you make a considerable change to your outlook, you might also reach this happy state, but I doubt it.
I'm very impressed with your analogy about "owning a turbo", it's sort of like "why own a gun, if your not going to kill someone?):p:p:p:p
If you've been wondering why people don't seem to respect your point of veiw, you might try analyzing you total lack of respect toward others(if that's not being too 'judge mental').

I have got a exhaust and air filter but my zeds auto

Its modified but my car is a auto and it makes 174rwkw while the stock Manaul make 185rwkw i think.

Im thinking since i have an exhuast my car might be slight qicker then a manaul since i would get my boost sooner what do you think ?

check for boost leaks, it should have around 180-190rwkw with a cat back and pod filter.. providing no leaks..

usually a stock tt will pull around 170 on the dyno

Yeah i think it might have some sort of boost leak.

do you think it could be in safty boost? when i had it dynod from stock only made 157.3rwkw. just hooked up the boost gauge last week and i think it just reached 8 psi. not too sure because the gauge isnt mounted yet. and i also have rusted Injector connectors and i think the TPS is the same. so my car is running a little ruff at the moment and also have error code i think that the computer might be rooted so i have a lot on my hand the machanic want $400 just to change the connectors around.

so its going to take a while till my car runs at its peak i think just one problem after another.

well cant wait untill i have it sorted and find out what it makes and how it go's.

and now i think i might have to bleed the brakes
But im slowly getting there :zlove:
