I know how you feel...couple of weeks ago i went drift practicing and lost it, over the gutter and kissed a wall, damage is barely noticeble to the front bar, it was just pushed back a bit, my new rims took the impact of the gutter though...FR rim has a buckle in it now, but can be easily fixed. The feeling is the worst though...uhhh god, anyway, good noone got hurt and that your okay.

Any damage to the poles? Even little stop signs or give way signs apparantly cost thousands to replace. I do agree with aKs sentiments (and then some) though. Drink driving is something I can never possibly understand when its so easy to avoid doing. Believe it or not you did get LUCKY. Could have killed someone or yourself around the corner... You never know

I didnt aim that comment at only mafi - read closely Its to anyone who does it. He put himself up for public scrutiny then let the public scrutinise and have the freedom to put down this disgraceful attitude of people thinking its ok to drink and drive. Or to not understand the impact drink driving can have not on the driver but to the public around. What if those 3 poles weren't pole and instead children? Would you then be seriouse about this situation? Do People need to get hurt before we condemn such careless behaviour? If mafi has learnt his lesson then good for him, but dont expect me to jump the band wagon and say "Oh because your my friend, im not gonna say something negative about your ruthless behaviour" There are too many zombies walking, talking and being politically correct (whatever that means these days) but dont expect me to give up my freedom to rightly say what i said just because some of you have drunk and driven or plan to do it in the future.

ignoring everything else, I have a feeling the chances of him doing this while there were people standing in place of those poles would be close to 0! and he doesnt need the lecture from you he has over a yr without driving to give himself one... You aren't any greater than him, so possibly say it if thats how you feel but try to be less demeaning and more civil or just dont bother.
we aren't giving him a hard time as AK did because A. most have done it at least once in their lifetimes and B. he's already learnt his lesson with a damaged car and loss of license. There's no need to rub it in or point out the obvious that it coulda been worse.
