Yeh I too wanna know what wheels or setup is the best? once the widebody kit is fitted? Also will the custom front guards UAS have, be a problem to fit with the front fender add on? as I may want to fit them along with the kit.. :zlove:
Aftermarket front guards will be fine, i'll be using some similar ones. As for the wheels, if using stock rims you will need 60mm spacers (<-- just to give you an idea of width). they will need to protrude the stock guards by just under 3".
If i bought the strosek front bar and Gonzo's rear wide body kit, it sounds like I could get my dream car look a lot cheaper than I thought. Hmmm, pencil me in as a strong maybe. Thanks for extending this offer. I will let you know closer to the cutoff date how my saving effort is going. James
Do you have to use spacers? What size wheels would fit snugly if you didn't use spacers? Is it ok to use them? Cheers for the help. and whats a strosek front bar?
Payment is due by 31st of January. Only one month to go! Payment from Kac13z32 has also been received. Cheers James
No, because there is no product in Australia. The thread clearly states the nature of the 'group buy' and provides links to previous discussions on the topic. For those that are unclear- We are purchasing a kit from the UK, as there are no wide body options available here in Australia. We will be placing the order in Feb and they should arrive in Tasmania in late Feb / Early March. Dave (Gonzo) will be producing all orders and sending out once completed. The idea of this first run is to help us get the items to Australia as it is VERY costly. Hence the bargain price of $800.00. Hope this clears up any uncertainties. Thanks James
I'm interested yeah im in for a kit. is it going to look like the nice black one from behind in the pics?
If anyone has any questions please contact me via: Email @ MSN - Exklusive300zx@yahoo.com.au Phone - 0418470032 or PM Cheers
Been umming and arring over this for months. At this stage i'm leaning heavily towards "me want!" Just to clarify, will the 4 seater version still have the 4 vents in front of the rear wheels? Thanks Ben
LOL, you know you want it! And.. ALL kits will have the single vent. We will keep it this way to make production easier. It will be quite cheap and easy to get your body shop to ad these. I will be getting it done to mine. Thanks James
I think im outta this one...i really really wanted one but due to loss of licience and also not legally beening able to drive the zed (p platers) i will not be able to jump in a TT for a few years .....i may change my mind and just build the car up but at this stage no......for sure a must in the future.....but you better give it to me for $800 still....lol....ive been all the way with youz....lol...kidding......
Changing jobs I am about to change jobs and work in a fibre glass business so Im ready to do as many kits as required. And I will be doing nothing but Z body parts for most of the time. woot horah
Fuel Filler Cap? What do you propose to do? Any suggestions other than the rear brake light mod? What about that metallic one in those Z1 pics, that looks pretty schmick, as seen here:
Can you also order me, the rear spacers as i know i want to keep my 20's and need them to fit well with widebodykit.
Fuel filler & Spacers maTTz: FUEL FILLER: The fuel filler is available from Zcentre as well. I think it looks great but my only concern is the price 100UKP wich works out to be approx $250AUD Maybe if a few people are interested i can contact them about purchusing a few and see what price they offer. Or, we can wait until i recive the kits and will find/make something to fit. Its a little hard with out being able to measure and i would want to make sure it is 100% before i offer it to members. Here is a pic of whats included: Ak: SPACERS I can order a set for you, no problems. They are 185UKP which works out to approx $460AUS. Again, if any one else os interested let me know and i will see what price we can get for a bulk order. I will need payment up front for these. Pics of the spacers: Hopes this helps guys. James
