FS- Z32 TT race heads with tomei cams.

Got some heads here, came off a race engine was planned to put on my car but plans have changed in term of engine choice, so i may as well sell them.

intake valves say 30 exhaust valves say 40 on them.

was told 1mm o/s valves but the last person could perform this, rebuild with valve grind valve seals etc when taken off race engine, fitted to a street car for approc 8000-10000 km then removed.


local engine reconditioner says definately aftermarket valve springs... but thinks cams are factory nissan due to nissan outline logo written on them
heads have been crack tested today and checked as being level.


all preventitive measures were taken prior to being used on a race engine including tig welded and retapped heads from inside the bore to stop the plugs blowing out under high compression which can happen with the vg30...

I've measured the cams in and the only result i come back with is for tomei cams. both intake and exhaust shafts are same spec measured with digital caliper.

base circle of 31.95

lift overall of 40.45

which comes out at an 8.5 lift cam set...

which through my research nad basing off pictures of the tomei 256 pro cams is the only cams i have found with this lift and they look the same.

i cannot be sure these are tomei cams, they do not say tomei on them, but as i say from what i can find the only cams that match my measurements are the tomei's

set a price to sell otherwise mods may delete the thread. Check forum guidelines. Get some pics. There are few potential buyers who will be interested with them.

 

To be honest i don't know what to call it i want to be fair to people, i was suggested by people here to ask for around the $2000 mark.

but i think that is a bit overkill...

what i mean is...

guy i bought them off was told by person who had them on the race engine that they were 1mm o/s valves and he was pretty sure they are but hadn't measured himself to confirm.

 

Mark a couple of photos of the valves and and chambers and I can confirm for you if oversized.

Get some good pictures of the ports as well as chambers and cams.

 

did as best i could then my sister couldn't find the cable hopefully she will find it later if all else fails i have bought the heads back here and will use flatmates camera later, my mate is saying he thinks they are factory cams.

all i know is an 8.5 lift and i was sold them being told they had hot cam's o/s valves etc etc....

maybe i got scammed, ahh well, if it is all stock how much is a good set of heads worth?

alright how much is a fair price to sell stock heads for then?

any idea if they would be factory auto or factory manual ones??

 

No idea what they are worth, excellent condition, $500 tops, fair condition, $250. Will give a better idea once the pics are up.

What colour are the painted stripes on the intake cams, if they have been through a parts cleaner these stripes may be gone or now black. If not, they will either be red, green, yellow or blue.

 

Just had a look intakes green exhaust blue.
