Well I guess Im back Im purchasing this 90 Manual, from the same yard I have bought all my imports, IVS. Im purchasing this one based purely on its condition, which is simply stunning to say the least, completly original and immaculate. heheh for the keen eyed, yes its NA, but the engine is being removed for a new TT one, I just couldent pass up on its condition :thumbsup: Anyway Im very happy again The condition of the Leather seats blew me away All original gear, Original Targa bags, cargo cover, and straps The engine shines like new, But its being removed, I guess I'll be selling it Very original, the temptation to set this off for fun is getting to me
Thanks man When I saw its condition I just couldent say no, I had been considering a GTR, but the car was so beautiful my mind was changed on the spot, even the pictures dont do the condition justice, and its still to recieve a wash or detail
If you're retro fitting a TT ... Make sure you include a new front bar in your plans. Gotta get air to the sidemount IC's, and if going FMIC, maybe a bigger central opening like 2000 spec. Car certainly looks to be in very good original condition.
Thanks man, The front Bar is already Part of the plan, Im not sure exactly what Ill go with, Im still considering the GTZ-R2 which always has been my favorite, but I dont know. The car is in such great condition, I actually feel bad for modifying it, it belongs in a museum :LOL: Ive already bought the engine, Lets say it came with a front bar already

Thanks heaps guys Its really great to be back, If there is one thing I missed more than the car, it was all of you, the cruises and the car club is just as good as the car its self, the Supra guys in brissy have nothing on the Z people :zlove: She was a great find, I regularly peruse the yard looking for great deals, and when I saw the condition I instantly fell in love, its going to be great to see all the old faces, and the new ones :thumbsup::zlove:

Might sound silly? But what if you rebuilt the engine with a much higher compression ratio and converted it to run on LPG (being 110 or so octane so the higher compression wont matter as much). Would be cheaper to run than all the other zeds paying for Optimax or Ultimate etc. And of course all the other usual and big mods :zlove:
Sounds good, Pete, but what about availability! LPG is not freely available away from the major (and a few minor) centers.
heheh well LPG is very much Available here in QLD, even in the most rural of areas, although I dont think this will be the way to go, although thanks for the idea. High compression perhaps nitrous? mmm we will see, but Im leaning towards something a little different Im getting this Z for a song and a dance basically $12,990, the vette is selling for $28,000, leaves me a few dollars to play with, my options are reasonably open
