VIC [EOI] Tech Day

im in for this.
would love to have conzult done on my zed. think i got a code error. explains my fuel troubles.

 

now that i think of it.. my place prob wouldnt be the best... my drive way is about 10 cm off the ground.. if ur car is higher than that u prob cant get up to the grass.. lol

 

So whats the verdict on this tech day guys. If some1 wants to host or has a place in mind we can host the day, then lets start thinking about a date for the tech day. For me any sunday from now on till mid december is my prefered day as i dont have work sundays. But i can do saturdays if need be.

 

Yeah ile def be in but hopefully its not out in the sticks in the east. Petrol too expensive yo lol

 

Looks like I need this tech day.

Just destroyed the friction plate of the blue car! IT has managed to rip out the sprung internals of the clutch. It is a exedy puk clutch, and admitably a bit damaged from the last input shaft failure.
Any ideas on where to get a replacement, suppose I better find out it is the only part damaged.
Regardless it will have to wait until after the studies now.
So tech day in November some time!

Damn well this definately warrants a tech day. We just need some1 to put their hands up to host or organise at a public place.

 

i am definitely in for this pending a definite date so i can tryyy and organise it off work. Bit tight as our management team has been pretty much halved but give me notice and i should be in. I can't really host cos i live too far away but would love to come. We could all go in a buy some plastidip stuff and redo our trim bits etc.

keep the interests coming guys, theres alot we can do in one tech day. and its a great learning experience with Z knowledge and soicalisation with members from the forums.

 

i'm in for sure i would offer my place but i live with my parents and i dunno what they would say about it

 

i've got a place we could hold it but its in geelong a bit far for all to travel but tell me when this will be ill come for the drive

mm geelongs a bit far but yes we definitely need a Spring tech day for 08 now that the weathers cleared up a bit (but not scorching hot like Ryan's before the GOR )
surely someone can host this in Melb?

 

I dont mind hosting it at Box Hill (not on main road) , My driveway can fit 2 cars in and plenty of parking out front just on a slight slope... but there's very flat road on the sidestreet next to my house (1 house away) with with next to nothing traffic.

I'd just have to find somewhere to hide the dogs. they go batshit crazy when peoples around..Damn staffies..

In terms of oil and house....
I dont give a shit.. the place is getting knocked over in a year..

plus, depending on the day. i might have a few front bars ready =)

 

Also, I wouldnt mind hosting this as my zed cant get out of my driveway i have a busted Transmission to remove.. And an Engine too

Sounds like we have a place to host this tech day. Fleming Id say you have a green light to start a proper thread for this tech day if you are happy to host. As ive said im happy to remove anyways AIVs and help out with anything else on the day. ill ask admins to delete this thread once a new thread has started

Well your the host, so you have the power to choose the date that best suits you i guess. I think late october or Sometime in Nov. or December is the best time and id prefer a Sunday as i dont work sundays but im good either way with dates.
