El light up center panel conversions, who wants it done???

hey everyone,

So my tail light conversions have been huge!!!
I am now able to do LIGHT UP CENTER PANEL CONVERSIONS as iv found a good supplier of the EL PANELS from the States.

Before I go ahead and order a crap load of El panels I want to know how much interest there is in these?

It will work exactly like the tail light conversions do. You send your centre panel, I install/convert it with the El Panel and send it back to you.

Colours available will be, red, blue, green, yellow.

The Price will be $110. this price includes return post from me back to you (Australia wide) and the inverter is also included!!!! All you have to do is plug and play. I do the rest. $110 is the best price I can do considering the price I get the el panels for and return post is also included as iv said.

Before I order ANY EL panels I want to know who is defiantly in?? im not going to go and spend Hundreds of $$$$ on El panels and not use them, So if your interested let me know and booking your panel in. I will most likely be asking for a deposited from you before I purchase your el panel (the colour you want).

Can you do it with 2K centre panels?

 

yeah i can but id have to sand the red 300zx logo off it anyway so the el light will shine through so there is prob no point in waisting your 2k spec panel with a conversion as i will chrome the light housings anyway and make the stock panel look exacly the same. but its up you i guess.

 

the photos dont realy do it justice, i took them with my crap phone camera. is pretty bright, they look alot better at night (in the dark) than during the day.

 

All the converted rear panels look brighter than the Nissan real deal I reckon. You wouldn't want them any brighter.

And I reccomend red or green if you don't want the cops to get pissed off at you. Blue is a big no-no.

 

well red and green are a nice genuine look i think. people can have blue or yellow if they want, im not a cop. i wont stop them lol but im expecting most will want it done in red or green. I personaly think red would be the best way to go

I have had a blue light up panel for 7 years(and have never been questioned or stopped by any Police in any State, because of it).:zlove:

 

Awesome! Now all you need is to find a suppler of stainless steel door sills with a laser etched 300ZX, and put the EL panels underneath and I (and I suspect many others) would absolutely buy them!

 

The traffic regs are quite clear, no blue lights on non-emergency vehicles. We don't all have the luxury of being old and the lack of police attention that goes with it.

 

+1. Never had an issue with mine either but what Chrispy says is correct, blue light is a big no no.

I've heard the only legal colour you can have on the rear of a car (that is constantly illuminated) is red. ie: basically just another tail light.

Same as the idea behind you can only have white lights on the front of your car. ie: head lights/driving lights.

I've only been told this and i haven't checked it with the Qld vehicle rules so i can't confirm - but in saying that, it does make a lot of sense.

 

The trouble with being a "know all" is that frequently you are seen as a "know SFA".
Are you telling us that Police are now equipped with Night Vision, Age Discrimination Glasses(or are you suggesting that most Police don't know about this legislation)?:rofl::rofl:
