I always have these available :)
I get new stock weekly so even if I do happen to sell out its only ever a few days.
And I'll keep burning the free Zed CD's for as long as they are useful :p
    So no rush,
    Caz.. :)

Hey Caz - tried to PM you but you inbox is full!

    Hey Caz!

I just bought myself an ipaq (a christmas pressie to me by me!) and need a serial conzult cable to hook it up to the zed. Could you please advise how much (inc postage and handling) and whether you have any in stock as I'll probably get one asap.

    Thanks,
    Col.

Hi cypher, the port is on the side wall near drivers knee. Its tucked up near the fuses that are in there. Its an on your knees and head in the footwell job to find it first time round. From then on its easy to locate.:)

Drop me a PM and I'll send you account details ect for the cable.

    Cheers,
    Caz.. :)

I'm not very familiar with this. I can only go by the MegaSquirt EMS that I have for my MX3. I have a CarPC that will be installed in the coming months with USB, serial ports, etc. Is this just an engine observation/status type interface with no means to reconfigure or adjust. I think I briefly saw some info on the Consult system. Perhaps I could be redirected for more information. Since I'll have a CarPC in the car, makes sense to have one of my windows set-up on something like this in the background.

There is more information on DataScan software on my website www.cazracing.com.au

The cable provides a communication interface between the Nissan ecu and your laptop or any PC.

If you have any questions just ask me :)

    Hi Caz

Are the cables still available at the same price. I've just got my zed on the road and want one please.

I'm interested in one too. Is ConZult and datascan and all that compatible on Windows Vista?
The only other laptop is an older one with windows 98 running i think 400mhz and 128mb ram... would that be too slow to run the diagnostic programs?

Wow, thats an old thread, LOL I tend to forget just how long I have been distributing these

I can't do the USB ones for $125 anymore, RS232(serial) cables I can do $120.00 and the USB ones $130.00.
I can still put a CD together with some free softwares and Zed bits to use with the cable for those who would like it. (free of course!)

The latest Nissan DataScan software has also recently gone up in price to $49.00. Its still a bargain for all the features it has.
Soon to accomodate wideband 02, Woot!! . :D I have been waiting for that one.....

And just in case any WA peoples don't know, you now have your own BlaZt reseller, Tom, Perth Z Performance :p

    Caz.. :)

I had trouble getting the USB drivers to work with vista on my laptop. Could have just been a prob with my lappy though, or I didn't get the right drivers.
I was just using the XP ones so that may have been the problem.

Are there vista specefic drivers Caz?

I eventually did the opposite of the instructions and 'let windows search for the best drivers' in both windows that come up. I had tried everything else at that point.

The drivers that came with it wouldn't recognise the device on XP when plugged in. At least not for me.
