Have begun the process of converting my track car to e-85 with the fuel surge tank, pumps etc etc installed today.
Just waiting on Nissan to send me the correct fuel rail insulators so I can fit the new injectors (Jecs 750's).
Dyno tune scheduled for next Thursday, tuner reckons I should make 320 rwhp from this otherwise stock set up. Heres hoping he's right.

Do you mean the insulators on the bottom of the injectors, where they seat in the rails? Better to get the Viton variant from Z1 vs the standard nitrile insulators. Viton is better with E85 (apparently).

That one worked! Nice man. How loud is it sitting in the cabin? Pretty much exact setup I was looking at

Don't know yet how loud it will be as I am still working on the engine side of things.
    Will let you know.

The main car body is actually one of those "chameleon" paints, but there is more and more flat black being applied (LoL)

Well I knew it was going to be a big ask.
Two weeks out from the first sprints at Morgan Park, I decided to do the plenum pull and bypass(s) along with a change of injectors to suit the e-85 set up, plumb all that as well as a custom made oil catch can, new wheels (18 x 11 rear, 18 x 91/2 Front) with new Nitto NT-01 rubber, but we did it.
The car was finished with a day to spare for the dyno tune booked in for 9.00 this morning, leaving the afternoon to swap out the lower rear control arms, pack it all up and load onto the trailer for the drive out to Warwick.
But just because Murphy is alive and well, the dyno guys stuffed up and didn't get to do my car at all today and won't until 11.00 tomorrow.
Going to be an interesting conversation tomorrow when they present me with their bill.
Day off work totally wasted, track time at Warwick all paid for, accommodation at Warwick paid for.
Toyota stole the word for it.
Still the weathers sh*t anyway and I would probably have spent the weekend sitting in the shed watching the rain come down. Now it will be fine!

That sucks man. Hope they get it sorted for you tomorrow so you can still make it for the weekend.

    Well Yes and No
I am told the wastage's are 'soft" and before making top hp, they were opening and losing the boost. So they had to limit the engine to 12psi and just under 300rwhp.
Looking into some aftermarket wastegates now.
I see Z1 sell adjustable ones.
Anyone else gone down this path?
Seems to run real well and builds power quick but with our wet roads today wasn't exactly conducive for any testing.

This is how the engine bay ended up looking after the oil catch can etc. The can is under the centre nose panel next to the intake.

Yes the pump is fairly noisy. Don't think its going to be an issue on the track tho! (LoL) Generally too many other things to worry about!

Strange, my factory wastegates held 17PSI without drama.

Yeah, to be honest not 100% sure whats going on.
I have used these guys before and they seem pretty good, better than a lot of others here on the coast anyway. But as per my earlier post, not overly joyful with their service this time around.
At least Morgan Park got cancelled due to the weather, so i didn't lose all my money with a no show.
The tuner reckoned at 14psi it was losing boost back to 12 through the wastage's, so thats where they tuned it, but on the way home my gauge was showing 16 and it didn't seem to be falling off, but then its hard to keep boost for any length of time on wet suburban roads with semi slick tyres.

And I'll assume your mufflers aren't 30 year old units that are likely to have collapsed then.
