MELBOURNE DYNO DAY

SATURDAY 23rd AUGUST, 10am
$45 for 3 power runs, printouts provided
RE Customs will be running the barbecue.

This is a 4WD dyno so tell your friends to come along in their GTR's, evo's, silvia's, civic's etc, the more the merrier. Spectators are more than welcome, so even if you don't want to run your car just come along for a look, good chance to socialise.

Also Caz from www.cazracing.com.au and Paul from http://www.sts-forum.com/ have kindly sponsored some prizes. Rather than rewarding the owners of the highest rwkw cars we'll be running some "Guess the kw" competitions, I'll provide more details on that later. If anyone would like to volunteer their car to be part of the guess the rwkw comp, let me know.

I will require a $25 deposit to secure your spot (the remaining $20 can be payed on the day), this is just to ensure that everyone who says they're coming turns up. The deposit is fully refundable up until Monday 11th of August (this is also the date by which I must confirm that we are holding the dyno day, we need minimum 15 people confirmed by this date).

Please pm me and I will supply my bank details (I won't run away with your money, some of you know where I live anyway). If you have friends who wish to run, please collect the deposit money from them and transfer it to me along with your own deposit money and use your forum name as payment reference.

As far as running order goes, I'll give preference to those who make a deposit. The "guess the rwkw" cars will be running last. If you turn up on the day and decide to dyno your car you may have to wait a while before you get a dyno run.

I should also mention now that you will need to sign a disclaimer form on the day. This is a standard thing with dyno days. Make sure your car is ready to be run on the dyno, check vac lines and fuel pressure etc. Ray is a very experienced tuner and he will stop the run if he thinks it is not safe for your car to run on the dyno.

My car will be ready and tuned and no leaks and everythign else ready for the dyno.....might push only 2 runs though but willing to pay full amount. 2 runs is fine for me.

PM me bank details. Depending on how the day goes and time, i might put my car up for the guess the KW. My car might be a bit contraversial and everyone loves to laugh at, but if i get over the suggested kw, ill be happy We doing a HP or KW count? Horsepower heros?

I might not be fully tuned by then but that doesn't really worry me.

You have my persmission to put my car on the "Guess the Power" contest if you want.

Car is running stronger than ever,(touch wood it stays that way) will have my license back by then, so count me in for dyno day.

thanks for the bump. we are still short of the 15 deposits required to run the day, i pm'd everyone from the EOI thread but only got a few replies.

cant believe out of all the vic members we can only dig up 9 or so 300zx's pretty poor form if you ask me. What is everyones excuse or reason for disinterest. It is looking like Sandeep might have to go and invite the Skyline boys how embarrasing especially if our guests start showing up the hosts on the dyno. If we run a pre dyno tech day a few weeks before would these get a few more people committed?

 

I am already booked in so there is not much more I can do on that front but I would be interested in coming to a pre-dyno tech day if it were on.
