Trevor shafted me. I was recommended to go there from a friend with an alfa. They fit my mufflers and cat back exhaust, i drive off and the heat shield is wacking the driveshaft making a horrible sound, they pull me back in and fixed it. Ok, that was good of them. The downside. I paid them to patch a hole in a pipe and fit the mufflers, as some people may have noticed, they made the pipes wrong, one exhaust hangs lower and sits further in the car than the other. The rubber moutns dont even fit onto the steel brackets. Horrible service if you ask me. I also had a booking and my car went into the workshop about an hour late. I sat at maccas down the road waiting for 2-3 hours to get my car back.
What antigravity said at first was >> reasonable but when K-zed said it was on the net: well then it gets into the realm of lawyers and courts and as WYKKED rightly pointed out that it might be hard to prove but you are the one paying a laywer for your defence and thats not cheap. We all rely on word of mouth to get the guts on who is good and who is not but on the forum you would have to exercise a little caution or you could bring the whole site down through the efforts of that lovely crowd ....the so called justice system:s regards John

screw the law if we are all scared to voice an opinion due to law suites then it's a sad world we live in. Say what you want and live with the consequences - I've stood my ground once and was whacked with a $300 fine for voicing my opinion. I contested the fine and never paid it and as a result I have never heard anything back from it so I assume it was annulled.
likewise, i do believe that thinking the law will get involved over a forum post, especially when its about bad service at an exhaust shop is being slightly to paranoid.
I went to Daalders in Preston and they had heaps of mufflers available! They cut off the OEM mufflers on the car, gave me a choice of mufflers to fit (fitted them so I could hear what they sounded like) and I made my selection. They then welded adaptor pieces to the existing cat-back pipes, and then fitted the mufflers I chose, welding side-brackets to fit the existing mounting points. The only complaint I have with the fitting is the drone that I now get, which wasn't apparent with the car 6 feet in the air on the hoist (my bad). All this was from just driving in off the street and asking what was available. I'll have to go back to them and get an X- or H- pipe mounted. Try them again.

true as a person,everyone has the right to an opinion and as a customer,to the best service they can get. If thats means someone's company gets a bad rap so be it.They are the ones who should have the right customer skills so no one has to warn people away from their business.
Thirded. Also had bad dealings with this place in the past.I had an exhaust system fitted to my commo there a couple of years ago and it - cost more than quoted - took longer than expected - continually rubbed on something underneat the car...after taking it back 3 times I gave up and lived with the sound.Anyway nugh said.
