I've only had my ZX for about 2 months but already I'm thinking about selling it. I find that I prefer driving my daily (which is currently up for sale) I've come to realise that I just don't like big cars. What do I do? Is there a way to make a zed feel smaller..? Could I realistically expect to get back the $8500 I paid for the car? I know this is a stupid thread but I'm really lost and I don't want to pour money into a car that I might never learn to love as much as my MR2
Sell them both and get a turbo manual MR2 Is the Zed in good nick? Should be able to get what you paid as long as it isn't a bucket of puss.
The ZX is in great condition apart from a few paint chips and mismatched rims. A new motor was put in about 4 years ago and it has only done 30,000km since then. I have $12,000 in receipts for various work that was done. It is a great car and I think I got a bargain. It's just a shame that I'm not enjoying it And yes, if I keep my MR2 then I would be building a nice 3S-GTE to put in it.
I used to drive a Commodore VN so I know what you mean The ZX is about halfway between. Ahh I'm so lost as to what to do
Upgraded wheels, springs, shocks, adjustable suspension & a decent wheel alignment should start to make her feel a little more nimble but at the end of the day she will still weigh upwards of 1400kg even if you strip her down a bit.
Once you sell the MR2 you won't have anything to compare the Z with and you'll get used to it. Don't sell the Z man!
It's so much money that I will never get back I already just dropped heaps on a new alarm and yellowtop Optima for the zed.
A TurboTech manual boost controller is $30 and very easy to install. I use one, works great. Makes all the difference.
