A good day, thanks for the help with the jeep's body.A lot was done, like Chris and Tom proved that you can do a heater core change in less than a day. We realigned Simmo's magical looking convertable zed bumper, and SilverZ had its tyres rotated. An inspection revealed he has a bit of an alignement issue.

Enough of the writing time for pictures.

BBQ and cars is there any thing better.

Thanks for helping putting the body back on the jeep.

Simmos and Silverz cars both had a bit of work.

But the real zed work was happening in the shed. Working quicker than Lewis Hamilton's pit crew before the Chine F1 start.

Chris working like crazy under the watchful eye of Tom.

This photo is not of some wonderful cocktail, but what happens when you put a little too much catalyst in some resin.

It was great day for me, and looking forward to Tom's event! (whisper has it he has access to a free track for a day.....spill the beans).

Agreed it was a successful tech day. Many of laughs and general zed mischief. Still it goes to show that a 6'4 fella can still be plyable and squeeze in under a drivers foot well. Bit of a stiff neck though. Tom you owe me a massage. Lol. All in all I had fun. Sorry I had to leave early though. Dave, many thanks for your hospitality and usage of your personal HQ. Very loverly home. Oh and great work with the jeep. If you need any other assistance, just give me a call. Happy to help.

    Cheers and good night.

Oh p's. Stupid iPhone and their stupid predictive text.

    Here's my free track!
But srsly, richmond go-karting place maybe?

Thanks again for the amazing setup you had there Dave and even more thanks to Chris for showing me a few new positions that are possible to get into in a zed... makes for interesting ideas, that's for sure. (Lucky it's a targa ;) heh) But seriously, I really appreciate it :p Everything works and looks awesome, although I lost the garnish that sits by the ignitions haha, looks like I'll have to go nab one from AZC!
Always fun to catch up with the zed crew!

    Cheerz,
    Tom :zlove: :)

Also, that god damn bastard screw... do not ever want to have to take out that pipe again...

Good one Tom. But seriously though, organise the day and they will come. Also, thanks for the lovely comments everyone.
When we have the next social day I'll come with the details on the track day, and pre-techday.

Got a picture of what you lost? I've probably got it from my track car.

Spoke to barry when I dropped my zed off, there could be a dyno day in the near future. He's building a zed and claims no one will be able to beat, but it won't be street legal

Thanks Dave for a great day. I am really envious of the shed set up. Thats what I call a mans shed. It was good to see my front bar fitting better. I was amazed that Tom and Chris had the heater core done in around 5 hours. Great work. I definately think Chris should become a contortionist.

Thank you to you and your wife.

    Regards Simon

I bet Tom means the small triangular plastic piece that sits just under & around the ignition barrel, with a hole for the 'Push' key release button?
