Sunday morning drive sounds good, I'll bring some of my Thai Red Bull  Hopefully the weather is like today's weather. Do you know if they're using the sprinklers? Also will they be releasing the course maps at the next meeting? I need to memorise them, last time I forgot the routes and lost a heap of time.

Craig and I will be attending..and I HIGHLY doubt Craig will be participating..I even thought he asked for a refund, but I could be wrong? As for staying in Melb - Andrew you're dreaming :p..Sheps 45mins from Bendigo..so I'm not going to make the trip longer lol..you could always come up to Bendigo and stay the night if you want?

We refunded Craig's money, but he still sounded like he wasn't 100% ruling competing out. I was just keeping the door open for him a little bit.
Be good to catch up withyou guys even if he isn't hitting the track.

if you're talking about the deca day , yes we are going to meet up with the others at kalkalo

if you're talking about the meeting, i've got the day off so we'll be leaving my house at around 7 pm to get to the meeting..........................

Guys, need to rethink the Kalkallo meeting point on Sunday morning. I would suggest the Caltex station a couple of k's further up on the right. The Shell servo on the left is being redeveloped and is open only to trucks, and is only selling diesel. Looks like more than 3 weeks work to do as well so don't think it will be open on Aug 17th.

list updated. my best mate really wants to come. it will be the same guy coming to the sandown track day aswell.

and i think dave (evade) is out pete. he said something about having to study etc...

im going to apply for leave to come down to the meeting. hopefully i can come down otherwise i will get my mate to go down.

guys how good should our tyres be for this day. im wanting to purchase newer tyres but im wondering if i can run what i have currently and then put my new tyres on after this day. rears are just above indicator so they are roadworthy, no camber etc. and my fronts are good roadworthy but the inside has some camber which wouldnt pass roadworthy. would i be able to run with these or would i have to get complete roadworthy tyres for the event.

any other info we should know about? fire extinguisher? we obviously need to bring our own helmet right (if going on the backtrack). no loose objects in car etc... anything else ?

    thanx

Dave said that he thought he might have to pull out, but I haven't paid his entry yet so I'll hold off till the meeting and see how he is going. He did say he still wants to go, just not sure if he can afford the time.

If your front tyres aren't roadworthy then you might be best to change them before the event. I'm not the cheif scrutineer for the event so I can't say how tough they will be but if it is damp and you have insufficient tread they may not let you compete.

You don't need an extinguisher, but you will need a helmet for the back track. Passangers will be permitted on the skidpan but usual clothing rules apply (neck to wrist to ankle non flamable) and closed footwear, so Alex, Kirby can't wear thongs on her feet.
