Price on this? Not including installing the motor, just building it.

Also, whats needed to run E85?

Price would be in the $12-15k range at a guess.

E85 requires all new rubber lines, 1000cc injectors, upgraded fuel pump/s and a few other odds and ends.

    Why 1000cc? A special type?

Also, 2 identical setups, one running 98 pump fuel, the other running E85. Which puts out more power?

    Any differences in power delivery?

You need more ethanol to get the same energy as you do from petrol. Hence the need for larger injectors.

E85 will make more power, cooler combustion temps and can run alot more timing.

E85 will bring boost on a touch earlier, but power delivery won't be too different.

Downside to E85 is you use alot of it, can be hard to get, and blends change seasonally.

How much is alot? How many litres per 100km?
This is awesome info, I'm looking at an alternative to petrol, this looks like the best option.

If I'm set up for E85, can I run petrol at all?

A normal static set up ya tune it for your current fuel. Petrol is mostly all the same but e85 may change a bit. Like mr fusion in the delorean in back to the future part 1.

You can get a dynamic management setup. Any fuel and any mix of fuel and the tune will change accordingly. A bit like mr fusion on the delorian in back to the future part 3.

Is this an ECU thing or a stand alone fuel system?

Will this dynamic fuel system work with something basic like Nistune?

Nah nistune wont cut it. Need lots of sensors and some aftermarket management. I would guess about 2.5k would get you the equipment needed before installation and tune.

Believe he was under the impression thats what he had bought. In his for sale ad he had a load of photos of the engine & badxtc pointed out that you could clearly see the part number on the crank & that is was a stock part number. Damn shame.

It seems most of the aftermarket players link/vipec/adaptronic are building flex tune compatible ECUs... Pretty cool technology hey!

well makes sense as his dyno results reflects a built 3.0l ,would have expected more torque /better spool from a stroker.

his cam lobes in the pics don't look of a big duration either.

still a good engine and result though

its a fresh new cranks machined out , brand new casting , no it has nothing to do with the stock zed crank , there is no ( nissan logo ) on the jun crank. there is also no 30p43 on the jun crank there is also no casting marks on the jun crank .

30p43 is a part number from nissan, back in the day ( FOR THERE CRANK )..

jun cranks are made in house in the jun factory ( as Ive said before )

the 15000$ kit come with the same rods he has ,, but with cosworth pistons and the jun crank . altho those rod may be a little different in length ( in not sure )
