Your car is beautiful Mark (apart from it being a long arse 2+2) Here is my red NA, It had a chrome strip where you are thinking about putting it. I recon it looked great.
Looks great, rims really suit it! I wouldn't be adding pin stripes (dates them), I'd be keeping it the way it looks now :zlove:
Very very neat! I love how it is simplistic yet tough at the same time. Excellent paint job and mags suit well. the bonnet (which i can just see) along with the 2K bar looks sweet. And having the brazzilian on back brings more focus to your shiney cannons. Good work. A great example of doing just minor mods the correct way can have striking results. :zlove:
Red Zed Compliments .... That is a VERY nice Zed. Even though I have a white Zed, I wish at the time a red one had come along .... red simply looks sweet! Cheers
Nice clean red zed DON'T go the pinstripe! Looks nice as it is!!! Would look great with some cleared rear indicators. I've always thought they show up really nicely on a black Zed, but red Zeds need them most of all, as the orange doesn't sit nicely with the red colour of the car.
Agree. I've had a set of the lenses here for about 2 years....but I don't know if I can be stuffed fitting them our just buy new lights with them already done. Still think the back needs something else to improve the look, just not sure what..... Cheers Mark
Yeah I think I'll be giving the pinstripes a miss. Thinking of adding some very subtle skirts, just trying to find the right ones (I want them to look almost factory, if possible). Cheers Mark
Yeah I was thinking of the Stillens, or another one I saw that Carmate sell.....hence the problem, carmate. As soon as I get motivated I'll check to see who else sells the same style as the carmate one and get it elsewhere. Will never deal with those lying bastards again. Luke did a great job. Its nice to have someone work on your car who is pretty enthusiastic about it as well. He loved seeing it finished. His final cut was a fair bit better than mine. I just have to Maguire 3 step polish it now. I still have the under tray to make at the front. And need to shorten the FMIC pipes a tad to they are more clear of the bar. Immobilizer in last week. Complete the stereo connections tomorrow. Its nearly done.

I know what the back end needs ... hospitals and schools might have a few of them, birds have 2, most planes have 2 but ya gotta exclude the Fokker Triplane. Just do what I did during my high school exams - wing it!!! Doesn't need to be a high one, just a stockie will add that "something" that disappears with the Brazilian hatch. As for taillights, save up for a 2000 rear set - will modernize it nicely.
zeds look soooo good with those wheels! they are very similar (if not the same) as the ones dub has on his car. you jsut need to dump your car to the ground for wheels that big (at least in my oppinion), but then again im not one to criticise, at the qld tech day my car gained the label "off road zed" clearly my springs have recently been replaced but with factory items, no sag for me but it makes my car sit abuot 2-3cm higher than everyone elses
