well still in process of getting my zed from car yard. its a 92 black 2 seater and its a tt. well financed approved and as some of you know it had a busted 1/4 window. now i went to pick it up today to find that some people broke into car yard last night and smashed the passenger window, ripped out the dash, stereo and the amps so i now have to wait till it all replaced. my old man Andrew aka michandy advised me to not get it anymore but i refuse as i really want this 1. dunno why tho it just appealled to me out all the zeds ive seen for sale. anyways just hope to be driving it soon still hopefull
yea im goin to im getting all the people to do it at their cost so at least 1 thing is ok about this deal
I seriously doubt the caryard will replace or fix all that stuff properly, maybe try and get them to knock it down a bit on price and do it yourself? I bought my car from a yard and i would NEVER do it again, when i got mine it had a busted mirror as well as crappy rotors and pads the caryard said they'd fix this stuff, we gave em two weeks and they still didnt do it so i just got the car cheaper and fixed myself
Id want it fixed AND some cash off the price otherwise I'd walk personally... Shes damaged goods now fixed or not.
he asked if there were people ( audio installers, window fitters) that i would prefer to fix it at HIS own cost. so im using my mate at kirky customs to do the audio and the guys at tint a car will do it for them so essentially it will be fixed by those people at their cost. and i did say i would walk away if it wasnt done. but as i said before i really want this 1
went back up to perth today and gave them the quarter window. they reckon the car will be ready on friday. i asked them not to do the audio install but give me the replacement gear instead. my mate will do all that. lol they now how electric fences and bigger guard dogs there
Caryards suck sometimes. Years ago bought a ZH Fairlane (302V8) and a couple of weeks later the diff gave up. They replaced the rear axle assembly, no probs! Some time later I was talking to a guy who was right into these cars, and he looked under mine and said "Why do you have drum brakes on the rear . . . these only came with 4-wheel discs!" So watch out! On the other hand, I also bought 'DREDZ' from a car yard ("The Car Place") and she's still beautiful!
Yeah some are good some are bad i suppose, im happy with my zed i bought from them but that being said they screwed us around alot saying theyd repair things but didn't...meh, i'm happy i suppose thats what counts eh? I hope all goes well and you get the one you want
That sounds good. I would say if the dash was ripped off as you say, check ALL swithces, lights, air con controls... everything, check the dials etc etc before you take possestion. Sounds like the car yard is doing the right thing but once you drive that baby away, the problems are all yours Good luck
update on situation i did check all dials and everything is in order, no clips were broken on the dash and shes ok they got me a new rockford fosgate 1600watt mono amp and a new pioneer deck which is the model i selected, windows are now tinted and they will be installed tomorrow, so hopefully pick up tomorrow only thing i am doin as i made this request is im installing the sound gear, as suspected no hesitation
got my zed well i got my zed today all i have to say is farrrrk well worth the wait i love it will post some pics later it has a lot of performance mods too hehe
i knew someone would do that but will have to wait till tomorrow as im at work atm, wa people will see it tomorrow i think. but yea wont be light enough tonight to take pics of a black zed

Farrrrrrk is right I took the thing for a little blat out the road tonight and oh sh#t that thing is no where near standard. Boosted to 1.4 Bar, all I could think was HOLLY CRAP
