I can see there are some issues arising in regards to the requirements for the calendar. To make it clear, I want to explain the reason for the requirements for this calendar.

The intended purpose of this calendar was to allow members who haven't been given a chance at being in a calendar, that very chance.

I regards to 'small print' as the first post says on the fourth line, it is intended to let members know to keep an eye out for changes (ie clarifications).

I'm aware of a number of international calendars that are 300zx related, but nothing that has been produced locally. I'm trying to bring a piece of that to our members. I'm not specifically 'against' international members of this forum, but with only 12 spots up for grabs Im sure if international members get in, then those who miss out would complain as we have plenty of calendar worthy Zed's here.

At the end of the day if people put their money where their mouth is and buy the calendar, then they will get to vote. So to help settle this debate down I'll get a Mod to ammend the 'australian registered cars only' requirement.

Regardless of how good a Zed is that wont mean its guarenteed to get into the calendar. The purpose of the voting system is to make everything transparent, and to not show favourtism to certain members. It also stops every man/woman and their dog to have an opinion that affects those parting with their money.

As mentioned in the EOI thread, there will be money donated back to the forum for every calendar sold, so those who want to donate to help the forums should be more than happy to get a top notch product AND get to assist the forum all in the same valued purchase!

Guys please. It's quite OK. I thank those for the support but it's totally not necessary. It's no biggy.
I'll be happy enough just to be able to buy a couple of the calendars.

Sadly, I dont think the quality of Photos my "new" 8 mega Pixel takes is on par with my "old" 4 Mega Pixel.

That said, given the size of a calender print, I fully understand WHY at least 6 Mega Pixel is required. Just a shame as I had to use the worse of my 2 cameras.

See going back through my shots, I've NOW worked out how I should have set up the shot with the Centurion to get a better result.

I was parking the car NEAR the tank. I should have moved the car MUCH futher into the forground, taken a nice LOW shot, and caught the full tank in the "background"

As it is now, its just wrong. its just a car parked next to a tank.

I'll leave these as my submissions for now as the damn place is 1 hour from here. But unless this closes first, I'll probably pop down there again next week and then revise my submissions. Same concept, just BETTER.

May also try and borrow my mates digi SLR.

Well, I'm officially confused. I was told I was not able to enter due to being from overseas and I understood completely. Now it appears overseas members have a slim shot. Either way works for me. I figure I'll post mine just in case and whatever happens, happens.
