Not really sure simmo, but the issue was obviously something that Tom couldn't find during his tune. I would suspect fuel or spark as a potential issue, but the AFR was a pretty constant 12.9:1 so that seems unlikely. Maybe beacuse the exhaust is not perfect or the intake or.... ? Cheers Rob
i was thinking same thing chrispy, is tom not flat chatting it until 4500rpm? if not, i doubt VVT is working properly with that massive flat spot.
12.9 ???? thats bordering on lean brother??? do you have a printout with AFRs? maybe your fpcu is on the way out then again the Tdaddy does know his NAs
VVT gears is a possiblity but will only replace those when it is convenient. Will replace with adjustable units and probably only when I do the cams in all fairness. Gave her a good bootful tonight without speeding (except up the hill on welshpool rd east ) and she really kicks and bucks into second :zlove::cool2: MASSIVE improvement. Will get Ross to have a quick squirt in it tomorrow and give me his before and after impressions Cheers Rob
