Adjustable camber upper arms.

tell me the benifits please and i may be interested...
also installation...does a professional have to do this job???

 

if your car has been lowered/has aftermarket suspension

then your camber angles at the front or rear of the car may be out. nissan says for the front the camber should be between -5minutes and -1degree 30minutes. when a car is lowered, or suspension changed, or even has sagged with age, these values can blow out. for example my car has -6degrees camber on the front. this has caused the inside of my front tyres to wear out very quickly. (only lasted 14000kms). with the adjustable front arms, i will be able to return the camber angles on my front tyres back to the factory settings, improving the "even ness" of the wear on my front tyres, therefore making them last longer. the same applies to the rears (however not in my situation).

Yea, I have -2 on driver's side with stock suspension, which I attribute to wear and tear on a 15 year old car. I had a mechanic friend of mine have a look at the installation of the adjustable front arms and he said it would be straight forward as the springs are held in place by the shocks,(if that makes sense? - no spring compressor required)

The installation is not too hard, but i'd get a tyre shop you trust to do it and get an alignment done at the same time.
