Re: Ok, here are the details for the group buy I'm interested in the rears.. what's the non-groupbuy price though? And what exactly do the front ones do? Same deal as the back? I ask as looking at my tyres, only the rears wear heaps towards the inside and the fronts are fine... So I'm assuming I only need the rear's.. yeah? Cheers George
answers #1 I do not know the non-group buy price for the rear camber arms as they are not listed on thier site. #2 yes the front upper arms do the same thing as the rear upper arms. #3 yes it does sound like you only need the rears to stop uneven wear.
hey there is a sale in the business section that is on suspension products, and for the adjustable rears it says: Must be used in accordance with the a Traction Rod to keep the suspension geometry properly aligned. Failure to do so will result in excessive uncontrolled toe and bush distortion leading to instability when sliding - this could cause an accident mid slide in tandem if your not careful. and i'm wondering, if the ones that you are arranging the GB for also require a Traction Rod? also, just a suggestion, why don't you arrange with that business to get some GB prices if we group together and give him a lot of business... i'm referring to the www.driftshop.com.au
Traction Rod Looks to me that you would only need a traction rod if you use the upper rear arms, hicas removal kit and want to use your car for drifting. the reason most people get upper arms is because the car is so low that they need the adjustable upper arms to bring the wheel back to 0* camber. funny thing is according to that website the traction rod's require a traction rod to fit
Yeah Hypa Nova is spot on You don't need a traction rod, although if you do buy one you'll need to remove HICAS etc... Think of it this way, adjustable arms is better than stock, adjustable arm and traction rod (with removed HICAS etc) is better than just an adjustable arm. Doesn't make it necessary you'll notice an improvement with arms only especially if your car has been lowered or you have bigger rims
Numbers for GB Do you have an estimate of the number of people interested in this group buy Andrew? I would like to get some fronts soon before my tyres are gone. Cheers, Stephen
So far we only have afew people Let me know if this is incorrect or if your name is not on the list. but so far we only have a few people. upper arms front: Ullneverknow JBZ upper arms rear: Pexzed Rob260
how many degrees of adjustment do the front offer? i currently have 6 degrees of negative cambre on the front! killing my tyres
Why wouldn't you go with JaMeSz007's rear arms for $80 cheaper than the UAS ones???? They look the same to me.
C'mon let's get this thing moving!!! I can't believe there hasn't been more interest with all the discussion on camber arms lately... These are two of the best products on the market and I WANT MY CHEAP REARS (already have the fronts bought from Noltec and the UAS price is better). Anyone who has modified their tyres/suspension, or who wants more performance and grip form a stock setup can benefit here. And you buyiong from UAS you get the added bonus of knowing that there are top quality tried and tested parts holding your car off the road...
kyne - cause people like to suck arse with suppliers in grim hope they will get some better than standard deal.
i am pretty interested in the fronts any idea when this will go ahead? doesn't seem to be much interest.
Re: hahaha, this sort of shit just makes my day So is that 3 for the fronts?? Come on people need 2 more for fronts to go ahean. Bring on the even tyre wear!!!
if this doesn't go through soon i am gonna have to pull out of the front group buy and just pay full price. getting new tyres shortly and i don't want them to be destroyed like my old ones
Re: if this doesn't go through soon I'm in the same boat as you cookie, i can't beleive no one else needs them.
not enough interest I'm sorry but it looks like we won't have enough interest. If people would like to pull out please let me know so I can adjust the numbers accordingly. thank you for your patience,
