i worked all day in the blistering heat! arrrrrrrgh!
hopefully my business isnt as busy the next time a tech day eventuates.sorry lads!

A quick write up for Ngoc.

"HOT" Zeds.

"HOT" Zedders.

and plenty of "HOT" air.

Was good despite the mercury hitting near on 42.C mainly leak tests, conzults and TWD's fitted on the day. Yes the TWD does work quite well.

I just have to say this again, but...Mark thanks for installing my TWD, and Trav thanks for helping with the fuel filter (bloody shit of a thing)...

Would be good to see some pics soon ...i didn't get home till 8.45pm...and im still stuffed now..BUT was worth staying the whole day..

As for Moi, got K-Zeds TWD fitted, thanks to Jedi for using the force once more! Driving home, ambient temp about 42, guess what?... TWD works!

Mind you it wasn't all so serene. At one stage, I had the interior door trim off, trying to fix the remote locking mechanism (I now think the solenoid is on the way out), when I hear this loud banging. Look around the door, and there's Tektrader with the biggest ball-pean hammer you can imagine, practicing his panel beating skills on my dented door. Anyway, it looked like fun so I joined in. Between us we got the main dent almost right. Bought myself a set of panel-beating dollies today to finish the job. Doesn't matter if I stuff it up, because all of the panel beaters I got quotes from said a re-skin was in order.

Bloody Hell it was hot tho'. Drank about 7 liters of water and didn't need to go to the loo even once, such was the perspiration rate!

Another successful tech-day bites the dust!

no problem renee even though it was mostly your boyfriend who did the job anyhow (that hose was just ridiculously hard to get off lol, i dont think it'd ever been taken off)

good to meet new faces and the old ones, look forward to the next as always, and for someone who never goes to events like these without a camera, i forgot mine!!

I don't know if my TWD works yet (as i dont have aircon to make it come on :LOL..

Thanks DBCAR, im gonna try and get some HR12 gas, so i CAN have aircon :thumbsup:

Thanks to peter and jen for the invite and good to meet up with some of the people i knew. Thanks to peter for the boost leak test and conzult was good to see nothing really wrong with my zed besides that little leak. I was thinking i had heaps of leaks but i guess i didnt.. i think i will knock back my timing from 20 to 15 just to be on the safe side when its on the dyno at JPC. Just for you peter will get my new mufflers put on soon

my TWD has never come on and i dont use the aircon at all.. only becuase there is no gas in the system plus what is the point in having taga's with aircon? hehe it never come on at all even the drive there and on the drive back. it only come on 2 times when i left the car sitting there for a while and come back to it when i turn it to on it flashes but as soon as i start the car it stops flashing. but yeah its all good thank god for the twd's but yeah with conzult said my temp was at 85 degree's but then again i got an upgraded radiator... :thumbsup:

forgot to bring the digi cam oh wells always next time!

and now i gotta fork out $250 to bring my zed up to its peak. thanks for finding out my boost leak Peter (and thanks to Alex aswell). Thanks to Mark aswell who used the Conzult to tell me my 02 sensors are rooted.

Glad there was a good turnout Pete. From experience, those TWD's are an absolute must for any Zed

Doug, glad you now have one installed. I had one in my Ausspec N/A last Summer and it came on with the A/C on in 40 kph traffic. I was both surprised but pleased.

Pleased to see it was a complete success. I still say - 42 degrees - HOT!!! WOW!!
