ACT 90 Twin Turbo 300ZX - Ideal project car for racing

Stupid question

Ive had the engine over hauled to restore the vehicle to its former glory.
Now the you can get the performance out of the vehicle of a true Z. Since it has had hardly as much wear as a usual reco, as well as its regular service.
That is why this vehicle is more expensive then the usual ZX's which go cheap becuase theres something wrong with them.

Theres nothing wrong with this car. Ive had it for 6 years & im the original owner since imported to Australia. So I know how to maintain it.

Ive purchased another car, & have no need for this one. I dont have to sell it, but ive had the opertunity to enjoy the car & its time to move onto something else. I can afford to tune it into a series track vehicle but idd rather buy the new Chevrollette Camaro in 10 years time, when ive made my mark as a car enthusiast.

Still, I have the dream to turn it into a drifter for the track so I might keep it? Its hardly been driven since ive had everything done on it to return it to new, so for me to go out & buy a car for something like this, fk the silvia or 180SX, idd turn this into a monster. One can only dream or you can get The Fast & Furious on PS2 www.ea.com & keep it in the game

My car is Twin Turbo also, i'm sorry you missed that and thought it was NA, I'm also sorry you don't understand the measurement of RWKW - are you sure you're a car enthusiast?

I sure hope your beauty sells for the bargain price you're asking - and why shouldn't it, when you've probably spent tens of thousands restoring it to it's factory original condition - although I didn't know 300zxs came with mispainted veilside front bars and dragon seat covers! I have so much to learn about these cars!

Its a Twin Turbo! 300HP is the specification for the engine that has been recondition, its calculates to 220kw.
I havent quoted the rwkw's so I dont need to supply anything.

The seats are in good condition, if it was leather, id say leather interior.
Why are you asking anyway, it looks like your not in the market for a good condition 300ZX

 

After the mature display youve shown here id be surprised if anyone even thought about buying your car on the forum... good luck with your sale though??

This forum is for 300ZX owners or former owners. Everyone who has replied has had difficulty with there own vehicle or is trying to sell theres or feel good about them selves by tearing down someone with something as stupid & pedy as, well "yeah I didnt know that 300ZX's came with car seat covers".
I mean seriesly, there are some complete nobs in this community that seem to show there true colors, so I can dish it out as good as the next person.
Im glad that you where startled by witnessing the way a handful of people, display them selves, in a forum. Regardless of where it is, so I have used provanity to distill my assortion against a bad few. Not to say that there completely wrong, just ill informed. + why would people persist in ridiculing to justify the market value of there car, or hunting a bargin on something that doesnt have a flaw.

secondly, you've missed the point of everyone having a go at you, it's one thing to promote your car but it's completely different when your confusing, misleading and wrong. This car is no better for the track than any other zed, unless your counting a stock rebuild. My advice would be to ask for this thread to be deleted and start again and just keep it to the facts, then the thread should stay clean

I dont mean stock. I mean mechanically in good condition as well as the body work. Im promoting an idea, part of a dream, part of a plan.
Unbenounced to you, according to your statement, is that there are a few things that make this car unique, however, your exactly right by saying its no better then any other car here or anywhere else for that matter, advertised privately for personal use as a registered vehicle because it comes down to what is required to make it most effective for the drivers style. Im suggesting that it would be ideal as a project car, I really shouldnt have to be any more clearer unless someone is interested in buying it & off coarse being part of a community with a network of supplies (parts), I figured there would be more suggestion towards how to make it a reality, rather then tear it down because other people are jelous. Heres an idea, what ever happened to, "put this part in your car man"?

How much would it cost to build a car that is street legal & good for the track @ drifting? Well youll only have to go as far as Oran Park to get the answer. So what is that worth & can you put a price on that?
Its an idea, but ive already got another car. So if I sell this one, I want have to poor money into this one to make it a monster, when I plan on getting something else in 10 years time, with the cash I have to spend on this one. Its already been restored. Why should I have to back down to people that dont know that a car will pass a blue slip with a brazillian, or have someone tell me theres something wrong with the color of a car that has Decal (stated) by the body work shop.

For the record - his got a TT & how do you measure the power distributed by the engine in comparison to RWKW, a compression test would be a fair assessment based on stock specifications but it seems like the blokes got all the answers & expects everyone to know.

Okay, I don't want to be up arguing all night, so i'll make this quick.

First point - almost everyone measures power output in RWKW, exceptions to the rule are manufacturers themselves and high end racing communities like Formula 1. Unless you have had your engine on an engine dyno, you can't say it makes 300hp - they all did 20 years ago.

Second point - Shitting on my car isn't going to win you any favours. Yes, I have a small dent on the side - I've spoken to a decent panel beater and he said he can get the job done for approximately $400 - hardly anything to cry about.

Third point - If your 66,000 kms is correct, that means that, on average, the car has travelled 3,300 kms a year - not exactly believable. Not saying there aren't genuine low mileage examples out there, but prospective buyers would like proof - everyone knows about how susceptible imports are to mileage reading tampering.

Fourth point - If you are wondering why everyone jumped on your case so quick, it's because instead of giving factual information about the car, you have spent most of your time writing lengthy sales pitches - "Looking for something with a little more attitude?"
Everyone on this forum knows what a 300zx TT is, we're not average joes who come into a dealership and take you at every word.

Oh and consider improving your English skills. English is a second language for me, and even I can see you're butchering it without remorse.

Mate I can't even understand what you're talking about, but wtf? You quote me on selling an NA and ridicule me because I ask for figures for your claimed power reading? I have never claimed any power figure and never had mine dyno tested, and would thus never quote anything. I can provide compression figures, much like kbro3, which is a better indication of engine-wellbeing than quoting factory figures.

im in the market for a zed again after selling my old one with 400bhp, and i think your's would be a good starting point due to the recent rebuild.

Please provide me with the specifics on the rebuild, e.g pistons/valves/gaskets/heads/coolant & fuel lines.

$5000 is the cheapest rebuld i've ever heard of so im genuwinely interested in what your rebuild consisted of.

if you dont know, can you please find our by asking your mechanic.

Due to you being interstate i'd also like to see pictures of your drivers seat bolster (with seat cover off), gear knob, carpet section underneith your pedals without the car mats, and your steering wheel before arranging to come see the car.
