Custom brazillian

Even heard of a brazillian before?
Well this is a custom Brazillian & the third brack light (useless @ it may be), has been removed (not only to reduce weight but to prep it for the next stage), specially designed to have a raised surfice to fit a racer wing. Its particularly focused on the JRacing (decal supplied) range of racer wings now on display & also fitted to the owners formerly Silvia http://www.jracing.com.au

Custom brackets are required & a designed illustration of the style of bracket, wing & areo dynamic down force, have been included with a compiled folder of mods (for a project - race car) & service history on the car.
Specifically designed for drifting, however the brazillian @ its current stage is unique & has been regarded highly by mechanics.

You asked the question...... so indepth:
A bolt on support harness would be required underneath the hatch to support a racer wing, sitting over the end of the hatch, there for @ its current stage, it is sealed with fibreglass (rather then steal, making the car slightly lighter @ this point) to make it easy to assemble the fittings that would be required. However, it is a complete hatch as is.

 

Just to let you know

The car is illegal without the 3rd brake light, been told this when a mate of mine went to get his zed rego'd and it just wasent working, since its part of the original car it needs to be on it and working. Brazilians are fine but the 3rd brake light must remain intact and working. Also been covered in previous posts on the forum as I remember seeing.

 

the car isnt illegal because the third brake light isnt there... but if the light is there and it doesnt work, well then the car is unroadworthy..

 

Nah, it's post 89 so required, and it was originally fitted.

You can buy generic ones from auto stores if required.

Mate just because your car is registered doesn't mean it is legal. It is illegal to not have a third brake light.

 

Will you paint the front bumper the same as the rest of the car?

Will you make the car legal? (third brake light, remove monster tacho, fit your rear numberplate properly)

Will you provide normal springs? (raised springs for track use makes zero sense)

Will you provide a dyno sheet for your 300HP?

Give us the details of the restoration (Who did it? doesn't look too thorough)

Mate, sorry for the stupid question, but why did it need a "recondition" if it only has a lowly 66,000 k's? Either the previous owner thrashed the SHIT out of the car to break the engine that quickly, or, more likely, the k's have been wound back or the cluster replaced.

* The car is legal! Ive just had it pass a blue slip! Ive just registered the vehicle with 12 months rego.
New numberplates have been fitted & are clearly visable.

* Its not a monster taco, its a boost gauge & it is easily removed but I dont see the purpose in removing it. Its a blitz performance gauge, which adds to the appeal of these cars.

* Its not track suspension! There (performance) King Springs which are alot more expensive then normal springs.

* 300HP is what the engine produces. With the upgraded HKS dual exhaust system, the engine will produce more power.

* I have a complete service history of work carried out for the vehicle over the last 6 years, which is very thorough. Work for reconditioning the engine has been carried out by ESP Racing.

* The whole car is painted, custom Ferrari Red, & Decal has been supplied by the body work shop for there discounted work in maintaining the vehicle, & pride them selves in there work. www.jracing.com.au

Everybody knows what a TT 'should' produce, from factory. Claiming factory figures on a 300zx forum is pointless unless you have dyno sheets to prove it.

 

Hey mate just wondering, in the pics, it looks like the bumper is a different colour to the rest of the car. Is this the case or is it the light????
also in one it looks like the bonnet is a different colour as well, kind of looks similar to the colour of the bumper.
has the whole car been resprayed or was it just some of the panels?

also, when you say 300hp, are you talking 300hp at the engine or at the wheels? and is there any evidence of this power on paper?

also, why do you have seat covers on in the pics, are the seats in good condition? are they leather or tweed?
