Well, Its hard to say yes its better cause personally i havent A-B tested dumps like yours and these divorced ones.

But judging from what I have read.

The smoother flow of exhaust gas striaght from the turbo into the pipe without getting any of it escaping and swirling around in the common chamber that is the wastegate area before it exits is supposed to be a significant difference.

How that translates into KW at the wheels I am not sure.

It compounds as you go up in power so the higher RWKW you have avilable the better the result you will have.

I can only suggest you search on TT net and maybe see some figures on 4 bolt dump improvment using Dyno figures. That will probably give you enough info to make a descision.

from my understanding it's all about the distance between the re-entry point, ie where the two pipes join. The majority of "divorced" style dumps as sold by Z1, Tuneagent etc make little to no difference compared to a single pipe due to where the gasses re-enter the main pipe.

CES style dumps (which is what tekky's are similar too) have a much longer wastegate gas pipe so yeah in theory you should see some difference because the wastegate gasses have been separated for sufficient time to see a reduction of turbulence in the main pipe.

That's a bit of a hack explanation but there was a really good article in Zoom a little while back maybe see if your library has back issues? you'd be surprised... it was called something imaginative like "dump pipe tech".

    Thanks guys for the feedback

but now i've found another interesting issue.
The ends of my dump pipes curve in just before the cats which is different to these ones.

I know you wouldn't know if these would fit but is my setup different to the usual aftermarket exhaust system?

I would be more worried that the pipes seem to shrink smaller as they go into the cats Marcus. You need to pull them off and see if the flanges have been ground away inside so you use all the 2 1/2 inch ID of the cat.
