What is this? Does the auto tranny like having this manual valve body modification, is there a longevity benefit too or just pumps harder/faster?

Who was the last person to actually contact Maciej Nowakowski about that.
I thought the answer was "how many?" and the price was same as.

Or you could just install the driver into a 350z :D
    ....runs and hides....

I've been emailing him he's got 3 half sets he's keeping. He's having trouble getting components for the kits. Paddles ect. You could probably make your own with an arduino if you have the time

Old school Slush boxes are sometimes manualised (my boss has a torqueflite with this treatment in his CH Valiant) its exactly as it reads select the gear and it changes no matter what. I understand the ESS unit did similar I would be interested in such a unit even without the paddles if it can be made to work with a conventional style shifter. however that would still be sometime in the future for me

Another possibilty if it can fit is the BF 6 speed auto like in the XR6 turbo apparently they have very little drivetrain loss and obviously are in a reasonably powerfull engine already

The first forum member (I think) to go SAW was RedDwarf who now only visits on the odd occasion. He set up a strong relationship the SAW inventor/Ess.

If you do decide to go SAW, it would be worth doing extensive searches for his two or three threads on installation and running of SAW ... would be some 4-5 years ago.

Clearly, Adz 79 would also have some good input.

    well..... oil change done.
A dint in pan had caused the paint in the pan to chip a little and some of it was in the filter...rinsed it out, scrubbed the pan out as GOD knows when it was changed....oil was dark red and had a brown tint to it and thick (yes oil was warm) so im guessing it might have been the wrong oil type for the box to start with (just like the engine oil was!!...that was to thick for it as well).
oil also had a burnt smell to it as well.
So.....all is well with auto now running really quite now and it should, no noises, sluggish and unwilling to change crap anymore and i can actually hear the turbos working for once and she left 2 big black mark on the garage floor (wife not happy)
also found somethings under there im not sure off so ill get some photos later in the week, hope someone knows whats been tampered with so i fix/replace it.
thanks to all for the info

The oil sounds correct by colour... But really old.
