How do they attach to the dash? Interested...

(Excuse the dusty dash and the hood in the pics is my old original one, not one of the new ones for sale.)

Initially they are set into position with a little double-sided tape on the arms of the gauge hood.

While stuck to the center console, both are removed as one piece and a couple of holes are drilled through the console and into the arms of the gauge hood.

I use the top 2 holes as the lower one you have to be carefull not to drill completely through the arm. ( as I had done on my original hood :( )

Once the holes are drilled, remove the double-sided tape and run the provided weather seal around the edge of the hood to protect your dash ( taking care not to stretch it around the corners).

Then is just a simple case of screwing in the 2 screws either side.

Once it is all fixed together, your gauge hood and center console are 1 unit and you pop it all back into place in your dash.

    Takes 30mins or less.

I recived my gauge housing today in a well packed box. Basicly this item IMO suites the Z dash very well and inhances the look to give it more of a sporty feel. This housing mounts the gauges in a good position to monitor the reading of the gauges.

The fitment of this product is good and lines up well with the bottom of the housing to the dash with minimal gap.

As for the seller himself he was very helpfull and was more than happy to help with any problem I had.

Thanks jasonic for a awsome product :D:D

Doing another run of these if anyone is interested.

A couple this month and another couple towards the end of March.

Sold a bunch of these last year. Have not heard any bad reports from anyone who purchased them.
