I am not saying dont get a TT on your P's at all as some of my good friends do have turbo cars or even a TT zed!!! I am however saying that YOU shouldnt get a turbo car let alone a TT zed because clearly dont have the maturity or skills!!!

If you have F'all driving skills do not even think about getting a TT Z. The TT Z is properly the most unforgiving car out there. So if you **** up you wont be getting a second chance.. kapish ?

 

Heh, I shared a house with an Aboriginal friend in Adelaide for a few years, he always used to give me shit for having to wear sunscreen all summer and still sometimes getting burnt.

Yeah absolutely. The back end used to come around bloody fast from my past experiences in my old 2 seater TT. Don't think I ever really knew what it would do if I overstepped it.

made for some good reading. havnt brought my 300zx yet but looking at a TT tomorow.

i had a turbo on my p plates (b4 the laws im 23 from VIC btw) and i was fine with it but bear in mind it was a worked mazda 1.6l turbo in a convertible ford capri. It did have a standalone ECU, extractors+ 2.75'' exhaust+ revised intake+ larger injectors boosted to 14psi etc etc though it was front wheel drive .

from what i have read TT zeds seem to be hard to predict though i would assume the automatics more so as with a manual u know what gear its going to end up in when u plant it. the LSD would spin you around quick fast id think. camber wear+ NA r34 4 Door+ LSD+ Rain+ roundabout+ 2nd and light acceleration = a 120 degree spin which i controlled but its not hard to lose it even with a good driver if theres a few negative factors.

I can see where kesh is coming from and he might come out alright but *going by everything written here from both sides* it seems like he is taking a very large risk regardless.

all the best and hopefully you learn from scares not incidents because even the most experienced drivers would have found their limits.......

Nah. Close, not much but must have been still a bit too much throttle exiting a large roundabout one night after a bit of a rainy patch, plus the car was wearing some 'Wanli' tyres at the time which were like ice skates. That was early on when I owned the car. Learned my lesson quick smart.
At 12PSI down the track even with good rubber it would step out fair easy at speed and throttle. As everyone know's they're fairly torquey motors!

 

I figured you weren't but you missed out on a good opportunity to give him a hard time about needing sunscreen at all.
