Well I've been into 300's for a while and coming out of my p's now ive been looking for Manual TT 2+2 but nothing really around. I'm about a day or two away from picking up an R34 i've checked out but i want someone to change my mind with a really nice example with above specs. PLEASEEEE change my mind. Haha. If not one day soon, hopefully one day in the future the zed will be mine.

Meh, just get the R34, easier to fix and nice enough :D Also 10 years newer.

exactly. there's nothing to convince you out of. it's 10 years newer and has less problems. if you're not made of cash there's no reason to not get a R34.

compared to a zed though it has non existant styling.

Not worth rushing in a buying a zed til you find the right one for you - chances are it will end in tears... Not always the case, but more than likely!

    Yeah thats all true

It came out relatively cheap with no problems at all, very clean in n out and nice n modern for my liking, but im still in love with the zeds, maybe when im a bit older, smarter, and have a bit more time n money to through around ill get one :)

You're not looking hard enough.... great Z32s are getting harder and harder to sell.

Check this one out on ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/nissan-300zx...QcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Cars?hash=item3efbc1db64

This one on carsales matches your requirements, has a good service history, and has an awesome looking new paint job

    http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars...1&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=28&silo=1011

Plenty more options if you are prepared to bend on the 2+2... we all know real sports cars come two seats and manual transmissions anyway...

now I'd be expected to chime in here with "Zeds are crap, buy the R34"

    but I wont.

Good Turbo R34's aint cheep to buy. If you can afford to buy an R34, you can afford to buy a Zed AND keep the change in your bank for the fixes when and if required.

So with that said, it comes down to YOUR choice. What do YOU want out of a car. If the R34 styling doesn't do it for you, then you'll always going to wish you brought the zed.

have you test driven both cars?

Personally, I think the R33 looks HEAPS smoother than the R34 and thier damn cheep, but that's just my taste. It's a skyline that actually HAS sports car lines (shock horror).

R34 looks nice and agressive if that's what you're into.

If you want the Zed then I have 2 more peices of advice to offer

    1) Be patient. Dont let the money burn a hole in your pocket. If you do that, the burning wont stop. Wait till the car YOU want comes up, then have it checked, then if its crap, walk away and repeat the process.

    2) I'm in with sticking with TT manual, but dont let the 2+2 limit you. I did and already not even 2 years later, the kids are complaining about the lack of leg room. They are only 10. The extra seats really are pretty useless and the 2 seater is a MUCH nicer car to be in. It hugs you more. So i'm just saying, if you find a 2+2, then great....but I personally would never again let that be a limiting factor. It's not worth it. Handy? Yes. But essential? Hell no.

mhm the r34 is a nice car but, over a z tt id sleep on it over a week or somthing because really the only skyline to have is a gtr but still id go 4 the z.

If u dont get the r34 and wait out 4 the right z just think about the extra money u could saving and then spending on the right z u have been looking 4
