no time for polishing.... might do some stainless bolts and stuff just to spruce it up a little more... that's about it for now. I can always pull it all down later! :)

Oi, quit hijackin my thread! hahahah just jokes... Andrew's Z really is "jizz in my pants" material... It's so damn torquey too... maintains torque throughout the rev range, not the old standard cam drop I normally see on the dyno! :)

    Day 10 - Monday = fail!!!!!!! :(

Dayem! well as the title suggests, I failed my "Monday = Engine In" idea!

I had a few customers call in during the day which is great, but lead to a few slight delays in my progress... To top it off, I took a drive into wangara to pickup a new clutch and a load of stainless bolts for my plenum and injectors....... let's just say I ran into a few stock issues!

My stainless bolts just didn't happen, both suppliers were out of stock however I did manage to pick up some longer bolts to use with the sard injectors/collars... I gave my sard bolt set away to another customer in need a while back, very typical of me! :bash:

Anyway, I did get a few things done, I installed the manifolds and turbochargers on the engine (I'll run the stock ones for the first few months, then when money permits, yank the engine again and install some gt2560's and cams.). I'm also waiting on some PZP cast manifolds to have their finishing touches. I did hope they would be ready for this engine but I'll just have to wait a few more weeks for them to arrive!

I also did a bit of degreasing of covers, sandblasted the water pipes, cas bracket and the fuel rails & caps. I gave a few things a fresh lick of paint while I was at it, so I'm now waiting for parts to dry and can't finish putting the plenum on until I get these damn stainless steel bolts!

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up the clutch, try a few more suppliers for the plenum bolts and I will have the engine in tomorrow! ;):p

Here are a few pics just for good measure, sorry about the quality... was a quick snap on the way out from the workshop!

Oh I forgot to mention that I also worked on wiring in the Microtech X6 Ignition Module. I'm ditching the series 1 and series 2 PTU and using the X6 box instead, I'm sure the proof will be in the dyno and I hope to have a plug and play kit for the Z32 soon! :)
