Ok seems we have enough interest Now i think we should discuss what happens A lot of ppl are willing to help out which is great!, much appreciated First and formost i think we should ALL, and i mean ALL, regular members meet up sometime soon and discuss this and what may happen, put pen to paper and continue to organise this, i have started this off and very happy to continue this with everyones help, so if we can all meet up for a drink or something in the near future i think it'd be quite useful to discuss stuff face to face as opposed to text on a computer screen, i would love if we ALL have contributed to this event in some way or another which i will explain later Secondly i don't like picking ppl to enter a competition, i would rather a say in who enters and provide a good enough reason why they vote for that person, once again this may happen at the meet up if there is one... Thirdly i have been seriously thinking about this for a long time and have actively participated in setting up the TUNED all female car club at last years autosalon so i know what is involved and sorta how it all works, i have come up with these ideas 1) A banner of AUS300zx to be made, no idea who can make such a banner but if someone has a contact it would be nice 2) Cruise Videos to be broadcast to the public, on a big tv donated by someone *cough* Brad *cough* lol j/k, certain ones cannot be shown due to ppl being a bit silly if u get my drift but most of them can, i was thinking Paul since u done the vids for Brad and motorvation u would be a good candidate for that if ur interested! 3) Sort of a Plaque/Display, like a sign sort of thing, with pics of the persons car, owner, description of mods, member time frame of club etc, tuned car club had a similar display last autosalon as they themed it towards something, we dont have to theme it necessarily but thats always an option 4) Models to walk around with us, need i say more And some other stuff that i can't think of now but will post when they do come to mind What do u guys think?
Rosco Dont be so hard on your zed mate, my car is far from hot put it that way, i can write a whole page on stuff that is wrong with it and why im not happy with it, the show is for us as a CLUB, our zeds dont have to be complete utter show quality with bling everything, clubs that enter take allowances for that as what Alisa said Tour too hard mate, considering the amount of effort you've put in for the club organising events and such over the past year since you've been here i was thinking of putting u in the top 10 purely for that
a banner for sure so its just Aus300zx.com tied between two poles above a couple of the cars at the front of the display. could also include some of the cruise vids off the net from like the US i reckon (who cares if its not local, its still zeds and no one would care)
u know i have a 42" plasma TV now mate if we get some scaffolding rig like TUNED then we can mount that up hows that?
true words i understand that the cars dont HAVE to be show quality,but there are zeds in perth that are show quality,we all know that....i would give my left arm for my car to be one of them,but its just not.... i would prefer that those with the truely best cars represent us,and that includes nas and tts,that is the best way to give our club the credit it has earned and deserved...

So I'll never enter her on her own, only with the super awesome Aus300zx crew... I'm very happy to support and boost the exposure of the website. Especially since it's helped me in the past and quite simply; it's the best forum on the net...!! I agree with you in regards to having banners, video's, stickers, foam cut outs, T-Shirts etc...anything to grab the peoples attention. Send Josh in naked...whatever it takes...(Actually we want people to flock - not run...yeah? ...maybe that's a bad example... ) I think that all the keen members should enter their car no matter how you feel about it. It's all about the club at the end of the day. It's also more about us; a group of Perthies with the same passion...Zeds! Well Mickey the cruise vid's are freaking easy to organise and I am more than happy to do an autosalon vid. I have a contact that can get a banner together fairly easily....as well as pinstriping and magnetic strips (i.e. license plate covers that say aus300zx.com etc). I have also designed a preliminary shirt that I was designing for a WA Chapter sort of thing that is similar to the Antilag pit crew shirts.......I'll send you some images of the designs if you want dude!
Your the man Paul Your the man looks like ur contacts will be useful then, btw everyone who enters autosalon gets their own competitor pack with a shirt but if everyone is keen on getting our own its fine with me!
Ok all members who want to participate Do we all want to meet together sometime to discuss this, or a series of times, if someone else can organise this it would be great, sometime in the near future to discuss plans, what ppl think we should do etc etc, like an informal gathering, everyone who makes an appearance to these events will have a direct say in what happens, whoever cant make it is either not interested or just can't participate at this stage, in the next couple of weeks would be good so we can at least prepare early What u think?

haha fellas miksta and rosco .. are you aware that this means u may actually have 2 degrease your engine bays... personally i feel that if we are entering cars they need 2 be mean modified muthers.. sorry miksta and a few of the other guys. but a exhaust wheels and a kit is what every hyundai excel and lancer has.. DUB.. Clara.. ZRATED. MINIVAN...Lysergic..Xcruzx.. and some of the others aer the ones with modded zeds that are of show quality... hint hint motivation fellas.. get your zeds running.... put some zeds out there that are sweet... im not saying my zed is great and all the others are crap.... just we need SHOW QUALITY 4 autosalon
I'm going to try to have my car in at least close to show condition by then. Will all come down to funds no doubt. We'll see how I go.
