All of the grips? As many as my old Evo? 996 GT3's are about ~$100k, hurry up and buy one already Mikey. Put the zed under a tarp in the shed and forget about it Mrs says I can buy a Ferrari or whatever, but I bet she wants me to bin the zed What did you think of the GT500? Which 911? What model and series?
Where did you drive an aventador?!?!?! Being an automotive journalist would have to be one of the most exhilirating and rewarding professions I could think of. Too bad you basically need a background in racing to go along with your Bachelor of Journalism.
We wernt supposed to go past 4-5th gear but i hit the straight pretty well and got it to 6th and upto 280+ km/hr in no time. Grin never left my face. I had way more fun in the gtr. The sheer acceleration of the aventador was orgasmic. however the gtr made my day in the long run.
The nissan was a lot more fun to drive. A lot heavier but man i enjoyed it. Tackled the corners really well compared to the aventador which liked to slowly drift across the track compared to the gtr.
I've driven numerous cars in my relatively short driving career, I even managed to crash a brand new Mustang at Sydney airport when I was about 9, but by far the most enjoyable car I've driven so far has to be my TT Z32. I have only received my open licence this year and it was the first turbo car I'd ever driven. Being that the four cars that I owned prior to the zed were n/a falcons, I found the zed amazing to drive in every aspect. The braking and surefootedness of the car make for a confidence inspiring drive, while the power from the twin turbos leaves me grinning from ear to ear! I can't wait to get it fixed and back on the road. Not being able to drive it has been excruciating, lol. The car that I've had the most fun in, however, was my last car that I sold to buy the zed. It was an XH falcon ute that was built (and set up poorly given the stiff rear leaf springs) for drag racing. It only had 200rwhp but it was extremely torquey and would fry first and second gear. That thing was so easy to slide with a kick of the clutch! The fact that it only had 200 RWHP meant that you could really use it all, too. No car can really compare to jumping a motocross bike, though
