I have had my n/a zed for 4 years in which it was awesome. If you find your n/a has minimal performance It's more than likely an unmaintained clapped out piece of shit.

I have just gone to TT conversion in my n/a and the acceleration is insane. Seeing as I haven't taken it past 5000rpm put your foot down in 3rd and before your know it your 50 over the speed limit.

Its not just me and Dean that would say that...so would Rod who was there that day aswell as my friends who know Kesh as well...they were the first to say what a crap driver he was!!!

This is the same kid that told me that he isnt going to take his targa top off on a 38 degree hot day because he doesnt want to get SKIN CANCER!!! I put on sunscreen and that was my solution!!! He is more worried about getting skin cancer rather than killing somebody on the road with the way he drives!!!

He needs to start growing up really quick and thinking smart!!!

Another example as to why he claims to be such a good driver...NOT!!! Im leading the cars to the tech day...Kesh in his zed is behind me and my friends in their zed are at the back. Kesh decides to speed up and go past me especially when he doesnt know where he is going because everybody is FOLLOWING me!!! We were going to be turning off the freeway and i signalled early to say so...he decides to swear (not merge!!!) lanes into right behind me which made the poor lady behind me to slam her brakes when doing 100k's an hour!!! And then he decided to tailgate me rest of the way!!! I have NEVER seen anybody change lanes like that!!! Its like the whole car was just swung across!!! If he really think he is such a good driver...GOD HELP US ALL!!!

Ill respond first by thanking those who didnt go off with insults n be aggressive about it thanks for the respect appreciate it. Also had a couple personal messages from people to who would rather message me then be flamed by idiots ganging up on them on here.

Simple, I said im going turbo on my Ps > People who were on there Ps went off getting mad jelly n shitty then resort to calling me a bad driver. Thats what happened so now let me respond.

1. Everyone saying im a hoon you couldnt be more wrong. Sure excessive revving and maybe going 10-15 over the limit isnt hooning, sure i like to thrash my car its how i drive. I dont do 30 constantly over the limit, lane change with indicating do burn outs or retarded things on the road i respect the road. I dont respect is the laws that punish safe drivers and people who can be trusted with turbo charged cars. I respect my Zed clean it every second day, clean it inside n out, sure i thrash it but thats because i like to drive my car my way and not go thrash some shitty ford/holden which is in no way fun to drive.

2. I suggest people get off there morale high horses and stop insulting me. I didnt come here to argue i asked a simple question and made a simple statement. 50% of people got mad n had a cry other half actually gave me some advice which i appreciate and told me there opinion in a mature matter so once again i thank them for that.

3. Someone asked have i drive a turbo charged car? And said i wouldnt be able to control it. The answer is yes i have many times i have driven my uncles R34 and my dads Xr6 turbo and ive never had an issue with speed boost or w/e. Sure the first couple of times it was scary but in the hands of a good driver who doesnt abuse the privilege turbocharged cars are not dangerous.

4. Abz ill say it as nice as possible. Your retarded. Your 300zx looks like ass and is kept in worse condition then mine so please dont go going off at me for how i take care of my zed, I true zed lover wouldnt make there car look like a ****ing diluted piece of white trash like ur 300zx with its ferrari doors and ****ing ferrari tale lights n a big ****ing jap win cause you really need that wing for all the down force. Also my driving is a matter of opinion also and this thread wasnt about that was about your opinions on the car. I hardly talegate, my lane changes are fine n safe, so please dont lie Abz. Also i didnt write off my dads ford i hit a tree whilst dodging another car who was drunk driving on the wrong side of the road, check your facts.

5. The advice the older n more mature members of the forum have given me is much appreciated and ive taken it on board like the advice about insurance n so forth that is whats stopping me getting one at this point.

Ill sum up by saying idk why i cant get a simple opinion and not a bunch of little jealous ****ing P platers crying omg u cant drive turbo n going to insult my driving n so forth by making up lies. If you got a problem post it somewhere else not on this thread where i only wanted to discuss the car....

So many things wrong with this Abz but i cbf with you, your clearly really mad by my posts to keep posting so why dont you take it some place else n cry.

 

I already got the Exemption, It applies 24/7 round the clock, getting it wasnt easy but i got it.

 

At the end of the day you're just gonna do what you like. You wont get much praise around here, its not the first time this has happened. Many P-plate drivers have come and gone because of copping the same stuck up shit from this forum, so don't take it too personally. An ever growing group come across that way because they like to get a reaction. However they also speak some truth as to people trying to illegally drive turbo charged zeds.

Ergo with that being said, if you genuinely have an exemption so be it.

Your a disgrace mate, getting an exception to drive a turbo car is easy yes, but you have no here near the driving skill to be able to handle that car.
I know this as I jumped in your zed when you drove it to show me what was wrong with it.

Not only did you fail to indicate at a round about, try and drift your auto and nearly clip the gutter (lolwtf were you thinking) you exceeded the speed limit by more than 50kmph on several occasions!

I actually think you are full of shit, I know of no exemption that gives you 24/7 round the clock (I'd like to be proved wrong on this so please tell me which one it applies too) since mechanics get it only during work hours and normally every other profession you can get it for that requires a V8 (for towing or anything else for that matter is all only during business hours) which is the only exemption that I know of that exists, again I'm all for being proven wrong and gaining knowledge here, so please tell me of this 24/7 exemption? Unless you have applied for your "family" only having the 300zx as 1 car the only one you can drive since its the only one your family owns, but this is only for this one car, not any v8 / turbo so its not really an exemption for any car you want to buy.

Dude, apart from that, he took at least 2 minutes to reverse outa my driveway.

My driveway is huge, even with my lowered zed it takes me 10 seconds to get out of it. Know why? Because it is a STRAIGHT driveway! He full locked it twice after hitting his mirror on my fence. If thats "extremely good driving", we are in trouble.

Don't be hating on P platers in TT's. I was in my manual TT 6 months after landing my P plates. Mind you, I live in WA so thats perfectly legal. I haven't had a single issue. Infact, I think I only got 2 speeding fines the entire 2 years of my P plates for less than 10km's over, and been pulled over less than 5 times in the 4 years i've owned the car. It's my daily. BUT, I am a girl, and everyone knows that girls are so much better at everything, especially driving

 

I have no doubt your a better driver.

Want to test it? Reverse straight. If you can without hitting a fence your better then an "extremely good driver".

BUT - i wouldnt have bothered getting one if it was illegal for me to drive it here.

 

Wait till you can legally drive it. When it comes to hooning i couldn't really care as most people here have put their foot down more than once, if you say you haven't i don't believe you lol. The thing is there's a time and place for everything, don't rush into getting a turbo car for no reason.
